Heads up! Disappointed with the shade. Even though description said shade brown, pic shows it as very white. It is definitely brown. I am a very visual person and buy things, sometimes by how it looks and don’t pay attention to description enough. Using it for upper hallway lamp and works fine there. Only need that lamp to show top of stairs.

I purchased this in mid December of 2018. The box seemed opened/retaped but didn't think anything of it as the lamp seemed new. I used the USB part a couple times to charge my iPhone, it worked as well as the lamp. I am barely home, this lamp sits on my desk and I probably use it a couple times a week.Considering that it's only been a month, now it won't turn on nor does the usb part work. I even changed the light bulb and plugged it in different outlets throughout the house. To no avail, it's short-circuited or something. Does not work at all. I wish I could return it and get my money back. I do not recommend this product.

I love my new lamps. I bought a set for my bedroom. I had the old 1980 brass lamps with giant lamp shades. They were constantly in the way and took up so much room. These have such a small footprint. I love the charging port. They do not look cheap and the light is not too bright for the bedroom (40 watt bulbs in them). Please pay mind to the dimensions - it is an accurate description. You might be surprised...I put a pen in the pictures for reference.

I’m conflicted on how to review this purchase. The lamp they sent me is very nice and works very well. But they sent me the wrong, cheaper model. I ordered the model with the USB plug on the side which costed several dollars more, but mine has no USB plug. It’s good enough and I’m too busy to repackage it and send it back, but bummed I didn’t get what I ordered.

It isn’t the bulb because it eventually turns on and stays one — I’m no expert but it’s like there’s a short or something. I don’t know. Very disappointing. Would ask for a return/refund if I still had the box.Would not recommend at all. It had one job.(Video shows the most recent issue. The original video showed me having to pull the chain more than once to get it on “for keeps” and now it’s pull multiple times and flicker for ages.)Pros:Inexpensive.Blends into room — not the first thing you see.Plenty of light to read — may even get a lower watt bulb cause it’s so bright.Cons:Doesn’t turn on the first time I pull the chain. It flashes, but I have to pull 2-3 times to get it to turn on and stay on. Not a big enough deal to go through the hassle of packaging and returning, but but not a 5-star lamp.Only one USB in base.I would probably not buy this lamp again because it has one job — to turn on and off — and this lamp only can do half reliably.

I bought one of these cheap on a lightning deal. I like it a lot. Nice weight and look, although the shade is more of a brownish color - not the white as shown on the website. It was easy to assembly, and it uses a standard bulb. I like having a USB port on the lamp, but when I was looking to buy another couple of these lamps, I noticed there were some other similar lamps that have more usb ports, and one even has a plug on top. Bought two lamps. Once received I had a bit of trouble getting the lampshade to fit but discovered it was inadvertently placed upside down. Once the shade was placed properly and the lamp installed I plugged in the unit and pulled the string to engage the lamp; there was light. I also like the USB port feature on the lamp base; very useful and works even when the light string is pulled down to turn the light on or off.Will buy another lamp when my new house is built in a few months. That way I will have two lamps for the bed and one for the study. Since I will have a guest bedroom I am inclined to buy two for that room also!!
