The tire carrier supports the spare well. Bolt holes are overdrilled for provided hardware. I had to buy washers to properly support tire carrier mounting locations. There are 2 drilled/tapped holes on right side of carrier that are not used. I got black plastic inserts to cover the holes. No instructions.

It's a shockingly quality unit that comes with a lot of pieces and options. The hardware (bolts and such) that it comes with, I still dont know what some are for, and nothing has any label or instructions. That's why 1 less star. But if you know what youre doing and use factory bolts, it works perfectly and is a really nice unit. I did have a issue with the actual part that you put the tire on, you have to hammer in the studs, similar style of how your wheel mounts normally, however they were so soft and cheap, that after doing so, just hand tightening the lug nuts, they broke free and spun. Nothing a dab of JB weld on the inside that you cant ever see didnt fix, but I was annoyed by it, now though, with the JB weld, I could prob use a impact and it would hold, so who really cares. Other than that it's been awesome. Easily as nice as the more expensive options.

This tire carrier is the complete package, excellent design and easy to install using the factory bolts and the bolt kit provided. It holds my 35” tire perfectly. I don’t think you will be able to get a 37” tire on it though. Don’t hesitate to purchase this product!!

Tail gate still rattles with. A 35 inch tire. Didn't help at all
