I do like this candy bar molds. The plastic is better than the silicone ones and the bars popped out nicely.I did think they were going to be a little deeper tho

These candy bar molds create finished bars that measure approximately 6 by 3 inches with 24 small segments. The set includes 8 molds and they are 1/4 inch thick so best suited for plain chocolate or with the addition of quite small bits. I used a combination of colors—semi-sweet chocolate and ruby chocolate which created both a color contrast and a good tasting candy with the berry flavor from the ruby chocolate pairing well with the semi-sweet chocolate. If interested tempering chocolate methods are on the internet. I used the fast and easy microwave method (30 second intervals until almost completely melted—do not go faster). Even a small amount of water will cause the chocolate to seize so ensure molds are clean and completely dry. I drizzled some ruby chocolate in the mold, carefully spooned the semi-sweet chocolate over it and chilled the mold in the refrigerator (not freezer) for 1 to 2 hours to firm and the bars released easily. Fun way to make custom candy bars.

Unfortunately the mold was so warped in the middle these were unusable. The middle of the mold was almost as tall as the overall mold height. Would have resulted in a very thin center of the chocolate bar.

I thought I was getting different molds not all the same form so that was disappointing, I will use them when I have a bulk order and do a double batch. Otherwise they are fine, I have many of this type of mold and it's dependable, you just need to wash with hot water and dry with a pure lint free cotton cloth and you get that nice shine to your bars.
