Little boys will love it!
My 4 year old son loves big noisy machines and loves this book! It's one of his favorites, we read it several times a day. So thankfully it's fun to read!It has an infectious rhyming beat that goes along with the fun onomatopoeia words on every page. It cleverly and succinctly follows the steps it takes to demolish a derelict sky scraper to replace it with a beautiful park.Highly recommend it to every machine loving boy.

If your kid likes a crash and a smash, this book will be a dynamite blast!
We started with the Roadwork book, which has been in my son's library since he was a year old. For his third birthday, I added Construction and Demolition to our selection, and they've gone down a treat. If you have a kid who is interested in how things are made (or demolished) I highly recommend these books. They have deceptively simple artwork which manages to be surprisingly detailed. The swingy rhymes and sound-effects make for easy reading-aloud fare. We are definitely fans in this household.

ZIP, Stamp, Clap!!! Great Sounds for a Boy!
My grandson just loves these books! He has them read to him over and over again. I believe it is the sounds the reader makes, SLAM, BANG, CLANK . . . of course I'm making up the sounds as I don't have the book in front of me. But our little man is 1 1/2 years old and when you finish the book he makes the sign and says, "More!!!" :-) Too cute! How can one resist. Good thing the parents are stuck with it more than me! :-) Demolition has been a hit!

Great pictures
The story is pretty basic. I like that it uses some funny words like crash slam bang! I really like the art style. It has really good pictures of construction vehicles.

Best Wee Boy Book Ever
This book fascinated my 2year old boy. Lots of sounds, lots of machines, and a playground at the very end (which he still wants to visit. We started reading this just as he was beginning to talk more and a lot of his phrases and speech patterns started mimicking the book - swing the ball, swing the ball, pulling on boots and hats etc. my 4yr old daughter also enjoyed the book - but not with as much gusto. We loved it so much we bought it for our friends with a young boy of their own.

One of the best construction themed books
We've waited for this book to arrive for several months, but it's been worth the wait! :)Our kid's favorite subject is construction. So as soon as this book arrived, it became his new most favorite book and it still is two months later. The book arrived in great condition.

Good book
Lots of fun sounds to help my kids speech. Good machine facts, make sure you buy the paperback for that extra wage of facts at the back. The board book doesn't have it.

Really fun book for tiny construction lovers
This is a little young for my 4 year old son, but he still LOVES it. He is into all things construction and loves to destroy stuff. We act out the story, to make it more fun. It rhymes, but is quite simple. The pictures are great though. And at the end, there is a page where it describes more in detail the different kinds of machines that are in the book.He would have loved it at age 2.
