This is a truly reverent inspiring blade.
I truly only bought this item to feel in my hand what I have studied about the civil war, to feel what our ancestors held in their hands in the United States as an Executive Cavalry Officers of our Union Army, before sacrificing everything to end slavery or at least give us a chance in the future to fight against slavery with greater force. Good for Sabrage
A very nice sword for sabrage - smaller and handier than a full sized sabre.

A decent repro
A sturdy, well-made reproduction and a nice sheath, but the handle was too small for my hand to fit in properly.

What is this, a sword for ants?
Seriously though, was this made for children? Why is the hilt too small for an adult hand to hold? I bought this as a prop and it'll have to do until I find something better, but I absolutely regret having spent money on this thing.

Began rusting from day 1... Grip is small... Construction is fair... Good value for short-term practice re-enactment sword.

While this product was clearly made in India - it appears to be well made and more than sufficient for use in paraded, etc.

Very authentic feeling sword
Great, authentic feeling sword. Solid, with substantial weight. Not too long so very manageable. Easy to carry for extended period.

Too Small
Decent quality sword, but much smaller than expected. It's is NOT 40" like it says it is only 27" in overall length, and the handle is quite small.
