Trivia Game for Christian Families

This is seriously a great idea. We have lots of games that we play, but never had any trivia games about the Bible. This game is setup where your opposing team picks a card from the pile and then tells get a card with a category, such as "What number am I" or "What city am I"? Then there are six tips to help you determine the right answer. For example, for city, the first clue will be something really hard like "I was established in the year 1800", and then the other team takes a guess (The answer is on the bottom of the card so the team asking the question will know what the right answer is). If they get it right, they get 6 points. If they get it wrong, then the slightly easier clue will be given such as "Albert Einstein worked here", and if the opposing team takes a guess, and if they get it right, they get 5 points. It continues until the last clue, which is worth 1 point and it is something like "I am Chicago, New York, or Detroit". <These scenarios I totally made up and are probably wrong...but to give you an idea of how it works...They are all Biblical cities, objects, names, books of the Bible, etc.>Although I am sad to admit it, I am not as well versed as I should be, but the nice thing is that the bottom of the card has a Biblical reference to the clue, e.g. #6 = Phil 1:20, #5 = John 3:16, etc. So it gives me a way to fill in my gaps of knowledge. Because of this, the rules I play are simply "I managed to get the card correct in 6 tries".To me, this game is very hard, but again, the difficulty is going to be based on how well you know the Bible. I gave it 5 stars because it is fun, and it is a wonderful way to learn new things that you didn't know before.

This a fun game for any level of Bible knowledge. You work in teams (which is great) and can guess for each clue. Each clue has a point value attached and you get that number of points if you answer correctly for that clue. Each question gets gradually easier and the last ends in a multiple choice type question usually. I love that at the bottom of the card they have the Bible verses associated with that clue so you can see where it came from. There are also 5 different categories for the cards which gives you a great variety. You learn fun trivia going through the various clues. I’m very happy with this game and highly recommend it!

I love trivia games. Some are more challenging than others. This game has some pretty difficult questions. Others are not so tough. Each card has 6 clues in order to guess the subject of the card. The first clue is the most difficult to guess. Then, the clues get easier down to a 1 in 3 choice on the last question on the card. Even the information in the box states most people don’t get the answer after the first clue. I am learning quite a few things. My wife and I don’t play for points, but we enjoy sitting in the evening “playing” against each other. There is a discrepancy from the box compared to the description. The box says ages 8+ and the description says ages 12+.

We don’t really use this as a formal game but love just reading the questions to see if they can be guessed. There are some good questions in there. It might be difficult for a younger person unless they have done a lot of reading or trivia before but definitely helps learn more about the Bible.

This is a great family game our entire family enjoys playing it. You learn a lot of neat little facts that you may miss just reading your Bible highly recommend it for families of all ages.

This game is great for teaching kids about some of the not so well know stories in the Bible. We played this game 1 kid and 1 adult vs 1 kid and 1 adult. Some of the questions we didn’t know until the 3 or 4th clue. Yes there are the well known characters and places on some of the trivia but there were several that we didn’t get until the very last question. My husband and I are avid Bible readers and spend a great deal in the word, but some of the questions we were stumped. I really enjoy this game!

This is a very nice game for everyone. It will really help us to study in the bible. This game is very informative about bible history. The questions or clues will start from difficult to easy. We love playing this game. It is so fun. We like playing it during my days off.

The way the clues to the answer are structured is nice, starting with a quite difficult question and leading up to the answer being one of 3 choices. The kids had fun with it and knew some of the answers. Great for learning some Bible trivia. I nice game where you can actually learn something edifying.
