I was hoping that this could add a bit of padding to the armrest on my 2001 Jeep Cherokee. Unfortunately, the armrest is too narrow for the pad, and even if it did fit, the adhesive isn’t sticky enough to hold it in place, it would have just fallen off into the dirt. I’ve found it does work on the center console where falling off is less of an issue, and with it there it stays put well enough while I’m driving, but really don’t know how long it will stay there. The pad itself is very soft and comfortable under my elbow, just too bad that it didn’t work where I originally wanted it. It would work great as a wrist rest for your desk or it might work well for an armrest pad if you stick it to a smooth plastic surface instead.

I use them for a little bit of a different purpose than the original aim. My knees hit on both sides of the foot well in my car and these are unpadded areas. I use some 3M VHB sticky tape and tape these pads to the points where my knees hit. What a difference it makes! These pads work just as well for knees as they do for elbows. I am so much more comfortable with these supportive pads in place than I was before I found them. They have just the right amount of cushioning and the surface is non stick so my knees are free to move as I step on the gas or brake as I go around corners or just rest them as cruise control takes over. These are great pads that should last many years and really improved my driving experience.
