This item has several advantages over the included plastic flagpole rings which usually come with a new flagpole. 1. This item is far better quality than the plastic rings. 2. The hooks which go through the grommet holes to hang the flag are larger and easier to hook up the flag. 3. For the price, the item represents good value for the money expended. They'll be easier to use when your flag eventually fades in color and needs to be replaced. How often do you buy items like this? In my humble opinion, I think it's better to buy a high quality, durable item than a cheap replacement.

Purchased two sets of the flag holder rings. These eliminate the need for the nylon rope you use to raise and lower the flag. Good news is that they install easily and are easy to clip your flag to. Bad news is that you have to take down your flag pole to replace/service your flag(s). When the wind is blowing, the rings do a fairly decent job of making sure the flag waves in the wind. As the wind shifts, the rings allow the flag to spin horizontally to follow the wind direction (so to speak). That operation would be better if the ring was on bearings for a little smoother operation. That said, I’d recommend these if only to keep your flag moving freely in the wind. They also work good if you fly two flags (maybe one other flag below your American flag).

I bought this to replace the plastic parts on my flagpole which had deteriorated due to sun exposure.These fit fine on my aluminum pole and are much freer moving than the plastic ones. We have had some high winds lately that always caused my flag to wrap around the pole, so far none with these.The hooks are a little small, at least for my flag, but I got it on and am very happy.

These aluminum flag pole rings arrived on time and are a huge improvement over the old plastic ones which always crack and break off over time. I have had am American flag flying in front of our home for years and have had to replace it many times. I wish I had purchased these aluminum rings with the heavy duty clips a long time ago. These clips are so much easier to get the flag grommets into. Thanks for this great product.

They were very easy to install.The flag doesn't get tangled around the pole.

I installed this product per instructions, and I've tried several different adjustments to no avail. I will be returning.
