A quality tap and die set
This tap and die set came in very handy, I’ve got a cast iron gate which I needed to dismantle so that I could renovate it - however it was pretty rusty and some of the bolts got pretty well stripped out as it came apart. All that I needed to do was to drill the holes out and ‘go up’ as size when retreading, and then fitting larger boots. Where I did manage to get bolts out okay, I ran a tap down the holes and put the bolts through a die just to clean them up for the reassembly. I doubt that I’ll be needing this set too often, however when I do need it I’ll be confident that it’ll do the job. An excellent addition to my DIY toolkit - happy to recommend.

Good build
I just needed this to do one small workshop project which just needed a thread cut.Being brand new this cut the thread like a hot knife through butter. - The carry case is superb and holds each bit in its place, a little too tight but good none the lessThe build quality is great, I imagine there are better tools out there but for what I needed it was more than sufficient.I will keep the set in my garage and will use it again as I have another project coming up soon.I'll update again at a later date when I have got the chance to use more of the tools

Good set
This may not be something used frequently but it is very useful when you need it!There's full sets of taps and dies, a screwdriver and 2 wrenches - all laid out in easy to see order in a hard-shelled case. The case isn't huge either, so it won't take up much room with your tools and closes securely with a snap/slide catch. This has only been tested the once so far but it did a great job of the thread, which is really encouraging as we do have a project in hand which will make use of this a lot more.Everything is solid and seem durable and there's a full selection, so I'm happy with this.

A good metric starter set.
The 'GreeSuit 32 Pieces Tap and Die Set Tungsten Alloy Steel Metric with Storage Case' arrived in a printed box. This kit contains most of the regular sizes of taps and dies I am likely to need, and for each tap size there is are taper, plug and bottoming taps. After drilling a hole in some lightly re-rolled mild steel, I set to work with a tap, obviously not the ideal thickness for a good test but it sufficed, a thread was cut within a few minutes. The picture of the thread is from the bottom as it was the one in best focus, as it can be seen I had not cleaned up after drilling.A nice set which although it may only get a few uses each year, it is there when needed.

Good sets of taps
GreeSuit 32 Piece Tap and Die Set.The set initially looked good, arriving in a nice blue plastic box, but on closer inspection no brand name was found on the packaging or taps and dies. The taps come in full sets of taper, intermediate and bottoming in sizes M3, M4, M4, M6, M8, M10 and M12. Also included are the equivalent sized dies, adjustable tap wrench, die holder, screwdriver and a set of thread gauges.Looking at the die holder, it comes with 5 adjusting/securing screws. These don't match up with the dies which are not adjustable. The dies are nut chasers, good for cleaning threads or possibly cutting threads on soft material. Also, the holes in the dies don't match up with screws in the die holder. The taps and dies are advertised as being Tungsten alloy steel but no SAE designation is given. Tungsten content in steel can range between 2-18%.In use, the taps performed well, threading 3mm steel with no sign of tap wear and the threads were cleanly cut.I particularly liked the taps each having the full sets. Usually you only get the one, intermediate or bottoming.Overall, a good set of taps let down by non-adjustable dies. I will continue to use them and I can still recommend them if used accordingly.
