PJ PAUL JONESMen Vintage Tweed Pants Herringbone Pleated Suit Trousers

Nice pants. Not the same army green fabric.
Army green. I really like the look of these pants with the front pleats and adjustable waist. I’d say the most common compliment with these is, “You look dapper!“. I imagine there would eventually be some fabric piling. I wanted to provide close-up pictures of the texture and color, which does have relatively few loose fibers compared to other Paul Jones tweeds, and is a most single hue of dark forest green with black herringbone. In other words, this is a NOT a multicolor herringbone. I wanted to make a full suit out of it, as I am obsessed with forest green suits currently. However, it appears that all of the blazers which are sold as army green are multicolor. They also have a slightly wider width to the herringbone pattern. The final picture shows them next to each other, with the pants being a much darker green compared to the blazers, which have a lot more golden yellow fibers in them. The texture is also different, with the blazers, having somehow a slightly smoother feel despite having more loose fibers on the surface, while the pants have a slightly more burlap feel to them. It would be nice to offer pants that match a blazer for a full suit look for those who want one.

Nice Trousers
Love the fabric. Tweed is usually itchy but not these trousers. I got XL but have to exchange them for XXL. Other than that, the length was spot on and they fit great besides the waist.

Size!
Overall really nice pants but even small is pretty big other than that Allgood.

Low quality fabric. Pills quickly and hard to iron/steam
I only wore these once and they already pilled a lot, especially in the crotch and butt (anywhere with a little friction), so I may not be able to wear them again. They also don’t take to ironing or steaming very well, so it’s hard to keep the pleat. They look nice the first time and can probably be shaved with a depilling tool, but that will have to happen every time you wear them and that’s too bad.

Low quality, even for the price.
Even considering the low price, the quality of these pants is low. The style of the pants is nice, but the quality of the material is worse than you would get from a pair of dress pants from Walmart or Target. The material is literally see through. After washing, the pants have began pilling and shedding tiny fuzzy balls everywhere.

Vintage Style Pants
These pants have the vintage look of a Herringbone pattern and the side adjusters. They can be worn with or without a belt. The latter makes it easier to wear a sweater as there is no belt to show through. They have a quality look and I found them very comfortable. I normally wear a Large but I found the XL gave me a little more room and the length was perfect. These pants have a cuff which makes them dressier than other pants. I routinely get compliments as people notice that these pants are different from the average type of pants worn today. Paul Jones consistently puts out a good product.

Perfect size
"I was skeptical at first when I read the reviews, and worried if im gonna order the wrong size. I am 5'4" and ordered a size S, and it turned out to be the perfect fit. I loved the material; it’s very comfortableStylish
