This headset was very easy to just plug in and start using. Its got great clarity and I appreciate that I can unplug the microphone and just use it as regular headphones for when I want to play game with sound and my girlfriend is sleeping so the sound doesn't bother her. They were affordable and look great. They are very comfortable and easy to store out of the way of everything.

If RGB is your thing you'll enjoy the light show but if not then you can one click turn it off and save battery power too. I went thru the instruction booklet and it is well written, clear to understand and is printed very well. You should not need a magnifying glass to read it as the print and graphics are done nicely.Upon opening the box I saw that the headset was in a fabric bag and the accessories were just tossed in loosely. With the high glossy plastic I'm sure those loose parts would have scratched the headset up, so the bag protected it.I charged the headset for the 4 hours which the booklet said to do and decided to try it out. As I commented the instructions were easy to read and follow so I had no issues with the set up. I used the 2.4Ghz dongle included and it connected immediately to my pc. I walked all the way around the house to test distance and I never lost connectivity to my pc. It did get static when I closed one door the furthest from my desktop but it did not drop out.I did notice in the booklet that it says Bluetooth but I think that is a misuse of verbiage because this X07 never shows up as a Bluetooth device on any of my setups. I can only assume they are talking about the 2.4Ghz dongle and mistakenly calling it Bluetooth.Where things fall apart for me are the performance of the microphone and the fit of the headset. The ear pads sit on the ears which I do not prefer at all and the headset slides down so the actual adjustment part is not set it and forget it. I do appreciate the cups laying flat as that is a nice touch.With the microphone it was nearly inaudible unless I actually put the mic right against my mouth. Even then I still had to talk louder than acceptable to be heard at all. Not sure about the issue but I tried to figure it out and could not. The results were the same unless I ate the mic and yelled into it. Unfortunately there is no gain available to adjust the levels on the X07 so the one I received was not useable for voice.The sound listening to music and vods was okay but was not outstanding in anyway, but I don't really expect audiophile standards for a budget tier headset. I did use the instructions to switch from music to gaming but that did not make any difference, it sounded the same regardless.To be honest, I cannot give more than 2 stars and I'm not sure I could even recommend the X07, and with the mic being a major selling point followed by the performance I experienced they may need to rethink their product. It is entirely possible I got a poor sample but still it was not up to even the average standards expected by gamers. With that said, it'd have to be a no for me and hopefully the manufacturer can figure out what went wrong with their process and improve.

I have had a rough time with headsets lately with the cables getting destroyed internally and making them no longer usable. This has completely changed that! I enjoy the wireless aspect so much and it gives so much freedom in moving around as well! I use a ps5 and it was as simple as plugging the USB piece into the system and just using it! They're comfrotable and feel like nice quality. They sound nice and work well. I played for 4hrs without a single issue and my party had no issues hearing me either. Worth every penny!

Now I am not a gamer but my grandsons love to get in one of the rooms and start "gaming" when they are hanging around the house. This headset has answered some of their issues when they are playing. According to these grandkids of mine, these headsets work great with their gamesets. They like the sound and the comfort of these headsets. Each one of them love the idea of wireless headsets so I know, now , how I will be able to get enough of these for the kids when they are at my house.The price seemed reasonable to me when you compare it to the other headsets we see. I would recommend these to families that have gaming going on. These are the headsets that you need, according to the kids in my house.

I was surprised by the sound quality of this "budget" set of headphones. Great for PC video and voice chat.
