This thing is complete garbage. As shipped does not contain any directions for setup or use. A few searches found similar items on YouTube so I could set it up.First problem ... the clamp bolt on the base stripped as I was tightening it onto the work bench. I drilled the threads out and put a hardened insert In place and used a new bolt to get it clamped to the bench.Next, the horizontal guide rod adjustment bolt stripped. The horizontal roller guides under the blade did not fit. The blades included in the kit were junk and could hardly cut paper.The adjustment rod for the blade angle is so sloppy it can’t possibly hold any sort of tolerance, which it can’t. The skives are inconsistent and horrible in quality.The adjustment for the vertical blade adjustment is likewise loose and sloppy, unable to hold the blade in a set and consistent position.I messed with this thing for an entire afternoon (after spending most of the morning rebuilding it) trying to dial it in and eventually gave up.Too big for a paperweight, too small for a boat anchor. Too bad I can’t leave zero stars!
