Crutch Tips Tire Grain Rubber Wearable Anti Skid Durable High-Performance Pole Cane, 7/8 inch(22 mm),Orange

I have Valgus Deformity of Left Lower Limb and recently underwent 2 major reconstructive surgeries which were my 7th and 8th operations. I have become extremely proficient in the use of crutches. I also had Lambswool sewn onto the hand grips and top underarm braces after about my first 3 months due to preventing chafing and skin irritation plus muscle soreness under my arms. I live in Houston and the covered hand grips eliminated palm soreness, slipping and it automatically absorbed sweat which occurs regardless of temperature but is prevalent due to the physical activity of crunching. I pulled out my crutches this past October for my 7th recovery process. I felt like I did when I was a beginner and slipped every single day at some point. Any foreign substance or fluid the rubber base of either crutch touched on the ground would cause that crutch to lose grip and slip like I was on ice. I decided I had to retire my perfectly good crutches until I realized I only actually needed to replace the bottom rubber tip. I purchased a set of original replacements at a local drugstore which unfortunately gave me only about 30% improvement. Discouraged and disappointed, I searched Amazon for any other possible solutions. There are many choices but I am SO thrilled with my new ORANGE flexible grooved non-slip bases. They are extremely flexible for maneuvering around obstacles or crutching on uneven surfaces. Since receiving them, I HAVE NOT SLIPPED ONCE even when going through rain soaked concrete, gravel or tile! I have hit spills in my home slick floor yet the resilient, flexible rubber flexes the fluid away and actually grips. I am back to being highly proficient and even more comfortable. I wish I would have thought to switch out the basic, cheap, standard grey bases a long time ago. I highly recommend this product!!!!!

After slipping on wet concrete with my crutches after leg surgery, I purchased this item. Definitely much more stable on any surface, including wet concrete. The treads on the base look like tire tread and really do prevent slipping, making hobbling along with your crutches much safer. Tips were very easy to slip on and fit securely. I'm sure my orthopedic surgeon would appreciate these just as much as I do!

I am a long time user of Canadian crutches because of Spina BifidaThese crutch tips do not grip hardwood floors or linoleum. And slippery when it rains. I have almost fallen several times.They are cool looking but not worth the looks or price if you need stability

THIS TIP IS TRICKY- FIRST OF ALL IT DOESN'T FIT A REGULAR CANE- THE HOLE IS TOO BIG, YOU NEED TO FIX THAT FIRST.- MY CAR MECHANIC ADDED A TABLE LEG TIP BEFORE FITING THIS TIP TO MY CANE- SO I COULD FIX ONE CANE, THE OTHER CANE IS STILL WAITING. (THEY SEND YOU TWO TIPS) SECOND VERY IMPORTANT THING: THIS CANE TIP SLIPS ON WET FLOORS OR ON VERY SMOOTH FLOORS, SO YOU MUST BE VERY CAREFUL ALL THE TIME N OT TO FALL.IT IS NOT WORTH THE EFFORT, NOR THE MONEY.
