No good
Initially I was pleased with the look and small/medium size but these tiny little pieces of white rubber band pop and stick out of the hair bands when they are stretched for ponytails. They are unsitely and pull on the hair causing knots and tangles.

Ladies and Gents, the perfect hair tie does exist.
Okay... to start... I have A LOT (and I mean a lot) of hair and my hair is very thick. My hair is mixed, Dad has the Fro hair and Mom has the straight hair. I was born with a mix of both. It's infuriating whenever I'm running, exercising, or even getting ready by putting my hair in a pony tail or bun and the hair tie breaks. I've tried those "no-break", "no-pull" hair ties. None of those work for the amount and thickness of my hair. They just don't. BUT HERE, I HAVE FOUND THE PERFECT HAIR TIE. It doesn't break. It doesn't pull my hair. It doesn't get stuck. There's no frustration by yanking a hair tie as far as it can possibly be yanked, getting the pony tail or bun in, without it breaking, only for it to break two seconds later and all hell comes undone. These hair ties are perfect!! And the fact that it comes in a pack OF 50, is amazing!

A Pretty Decent Product
4 Stars: The small ones (brown, tan, white, black):They hold hair well and have good elasticity. However, after you have used the blacks ones once or twice, little white elastic pieces start to show. That is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I have all black hair so I need a product that stays black with repeated usage. I haven't used the other colors so I will have to see if it the same with those.5 stars: The large black ones: I love these. They are so hard to find in a store and when I do, I'm paying $2 for 3-5 of them. I have thick, long natural hair and these work perfect. Any other elastic would break on me with the first use or lose elasticity due to the hair products that I use. These I can wash and reuse.I would reorder the larges ones and recommend them.

Not cotton.
I bought these (and another package of multicolor ties in the same style from a different seller) *primarily* for mask making/ear loops because I had good luck using cotton headbands. They're not cotton. The elastic pops out and frays as soon as they are stretched. They feel very synthetic/plastic-y. They curl up, fray badly when cut, and melt into cracked plastic under a low iron. They curl too much and are too stiff to feed through a sewing machine cleanly. I fear they will fray even more after a wash.I will make do, and probably still use for hair ties, but it's not what I was looking for so ultimately pretty disappointed.

Excellent for thin hair
These work well on fine hair, do not recommend for people who have a lot of hair or thick hair. I have very fine hair, it does not slide out, does not cause breakage. It works perfectly for my hair. But again, do not expect to hold up a bunch of thick hair.

I threw away all my other hair ties.
As a male with thicker than average wrists, regular hair ties are not made to fit on my wrist without my fingers turning purple. Because these are wider I can actually put them on my wrist, which is a godsend. These have no metal or seams to catch on my hair, and they have the tightness to keep a ponytail all day. These are absolutely the only hair ties I'll be using from now on.

These really work for thick long hair!
I'll admit, I was very skeptical. I run and have long, thick hair and I've been using hair ties with lots of rubbery grip to keep my hair up and out of my face when I run or play sports. My hair stylist recently told me that my high grip hair ties were causing breakage and leaving me with lots of flyaways and frizzier hair. So I went in search of something that wouldn't damage my hair but would still keep it up while I run. These actually do the trick! they are strong and sturdy enough that when I wrap them 3 times around, they keep my hair up and don't slide out. And the best part is that I can just slide them out of my hair without worrying about pulling strands out. Highly recommend!

Not bad
These hair ties are easy on the kids’ hair but the little elastic strands break down and stick out after the first or second use.But I like that they hold their hair well through the day
