I bought this for my grandkids 7- 13 that were traveling to England. Its a pretty good see and do book for kids traveling to England. It's interactive in that it asks you questions.

Highly recommend for young travelers!
The Kids Travel Guide for the UK & London by FlyingKids is a great book for your child to read, not only in preparation for their trip but also during their trip! This travel guide gives your child great insight into the country's history, culture and customs. The book is guaranteed to keep your child entertained with fun facts, puzzles, coloring, drawing and more from their very own personal guide, Leonardo! Did I mention Leonardo travels the UK & London with your child? Leonardo has done his research and managed to tell some riveting tales during his journey. Your child will have fun while learning all about the UK & London, Leonardo makes sure of this! Leonardo has special quizzes, valuable information (especially on currency conversion) and has even included some very interesting UK & London superstitions. This travel guide also offers food and activity recommendations while including pages for your child to post pictures and travel experiences. My favorite part about this travel guide is it becomes a keepsake for your child, filled with memories they can always treasure.

Kids could relate!
Found some good basic UK info. My goal is to familiarize our grand kids with the UK, before they meet their Aunt, who lives there.

Five Stars
Great guide leanring book and mini journal writing. Please create one for China, Hong Kong and Switzerland! Sadly, brought it to London and my son left it on United Airlines and never returned. Sighed. So had to rebuy. Is not even the RE BUY but is the work and effort went into writing in it, decorating the front cover personalizing it . Now is all had to be RE DO!

Awesome book to ready your kid for a trip!
My 6 y/o loved this and he’s a critical kid. It was fun to read with him and learn together. We bought this like 3 weeks before the trip but I wish we had bought 3 months prior. Now we know!

Educational
I purchased this for my nine year old granddaughter to use while on their vacation in July. From looking through the book, her parents and I can see that she will enjoy learning and writing about the things she sees/does while in the UK.

Better than expected!
The media could not be loaded. Perfect to continue our homeschooling while traveling! It looks like it has lots of great info. Mentions the queen living in Buckingham Palace so maybe a bit outdated now in that regard but otherwise looks great!

Great fun and engaging for young travellers
I recently bought this book for my children and I to prepare for a upcoming visit to London to visit my family. I am from the UK and have visited London many times as a child and adult. I think the book does a great job of presenting History and information about London and the UK in interesting and engaging ways.I like the information about England, Ireland, Wales and Scotland but I think perhaps a bit more detail could be gone into and some of the statements about "the troubles" in Ireland should be made clearer (better explanation about what they were fighting about) or just left out. There is a lot more to say about Ireland without getting into the "troubles".This book is wonderfully packed full of activities for the children which has really helped to engage them with the material in the book. I like the section on some of the English idiom's that we use. Sometimes I forget that other people might not know what us Brits might mean when we use them. I once asked a Dutch lady to give me a "ball park figure" of the cost of renting a car in Jordan and she was really confused and wondered what ball park I meant and what that had to do with renting a car. : D. Anyway, in short me and the children are thoroughly enjoying the book and look forward to filling the back pages with some of our own pictures of London after the trip.Really though you have to include the Science Museum in one of the best children's museums! I used to call that museum "the button museum" because it was so engaging. Especially the floor which is full of practical hands on experiments and activities for the children to get stuck into! I am very un-scientific and the museum was great fun to me.I am happy that there is a section about the various parks in London. One of my favourite things to do is have a picnic in a park there. Especially in summer. In short I think the book is an excellent buy for anyone planning a trip to London with their children to help them engage with the place, history and people.
