I have been having issues with my B&S V-Twin where one cylinder was running poorly and popping. I adjusted the valves half a dozen times, making sure the push rod and compression release were good, to no avail. I watched another YouTube video that suggested it could be the coils so I purchased this set and instantly saw a massive difference. It was running smoothly, good response throughout the throttle range and the headlights were way brighter. Although I probably only needed one, I replaced both since it is great value for a pair. Highly recommended!

On my Briggs and Stratton on my zero trunk mower wouldn't fire after sitting all spring. One coil wasn't sparking. Bought these and they worked great. Nice strong spark . Fit great and installed without a problem. Mower is back to running like a top. Only thing to note is the wires are longer than factory but not a big deal.

These were a perfect fit on a 22hp Briggs and Stratton Intek. A few said they needed to grind some of the valve head to make it fit,, Not so with my case. It is a little larger than the OEM but it still fit right in. I tested after installing and there was a strong spark and mower now runs like new. Time will tell how good the quality is but at 1/4 of the price of OEM for a back up mower it was a good deal for me.

I didn’t take a pic but after setting gap of the coils my engine fired to life again. They go in pretty fast and easy. You should probably know a little about it before attempting. You can set your gap with a business card if you don’t own a feeler gauge. There is a north and South Pole on them so don’t turn them upside down. Take a pic before you take apart. I’m very pleased with the coils and would recommend them. It was my choice to write this info. I didn’t and won’t receive anything for it. Maybe someone can use the information.

One of the coils went bad on my husky lawnmower at the worst time. Tried to find one locally to get it going quick. After looking for one on Amazon I came across a two pack which is the only way to go at about 1/2 the cost of one locally. About 30 minutes and had it back in service. This worked on a briggs and stratton 44000 series engine, specifically a 44R877 as a replacement for a factory briggs 592846 magneto armature. Slightly different size, but the holes line up, it fits, and get a nice strong spark. We’ll see how long it lasts.

When a mouse decided to make a nest in my tractor and chew thru the wiring on one of the magnetos I decided to replace them both. Prices are all over the place for these magnetos so it was a risk to purchase budget non-OEM parts, but paying over $50 each for OEM versions was not really and option for me and the part numbers were the same so....In the end these worked well in my Briggs and Stratton 22 HP V Twin engine in my Airens lawn tractor. The work required to get them installed will vary...mine being not too difficult. I did have some problems once they were installed with the engine running poorly so I did the old You Tube search and found a few videos about the gap needed between the magnetos and the magnets on the engine's crankshaft housing?...or whatever it's called. I had mine set way to open. It's roughly the thickness of a 3x5 card which is about .011 mm. Once that was corrected it started and ran great and has been working fine ever since.So while I do prefer to purchase OEM parts whenever possible and would normally recommend doing the same, I have no problem recommending these magnetos.One thing to note is these do not come with the spark plug boots so if yours are old and dried or missing, you will need to purchase them separately. That's all !!

Great solved the problem. A coil gone bad is very rare normally its just the contract surface is corroded or plug wires. The parts were well priced. I did have to put longer leeds as the wiring was not long enough. Simple fix. Need to use the rubber plug cap from the old coil
