I bought this product for my robot man lamp, a perfect fit with the futuristic LED looks. My past experience with past LED lights gave me the assumption that this light would be somewhat bright. Needless to say, when I received this product and turned it on, it almost burnt a hole in my retinas. The light is a real white bright shade, maybe not the best idea to illuminate papers on a desk due to reflection, but good otherwise. After a few hours of run time, the light was barely warm to the touch. The incandescent I used prior to this would heat the metal enclosure up so much that I couldn't even adjust it. Also, the LED light has no fragile or tungsten filament to break. I am definitely satisfied with this light!If this review helped you, please say so!

I had been looking for a replacement bulb for the light on my Dewalt scroll saw to no avail. Even Dewalt's help line offered no help or suggestions. I stumbled upon a mention of this bulb in an online forum and thought I would try to locate one. I am glad that I found it on Amazon. It is a perfect fit in the housing of the Dewalt light, produces significantly more light than the original, and uses only four watts instead of the original's 25.Being LED, it contains no mercury and is unaffected by the vibration of the saw. Just what I was looking for.

Received item quickly. First time I used the bulb for approximately 45 minutes it worked great and had a very bright light. Just what I was looking for. However, two day later when I turned it on it worked for about 1 minute and then went off. I verified that power was getting to the light and reinstalled the bulb. When I turned the light on it worked for about 1 minute or less and then went off.I would NOT recommend purchasing this bulb. Having payed $7.99 for this bulb I would expect better quality.

If you have a certain lamp from Ikea, just buy this, install it, and keep from melting things around the lamp...and keep yourself from going to the hardware store buying 20 of the incandescent bulbs because they blow out every 25 minutes (exaggeration).Buy it. it's bright. It looks great.

I bought this for an ikea lamp that i use in my room. I have the smallest room in my house and it has one small window facing the neighbours house, so i get basically no natural light. This bulb is bright white light and it fits perfectly into the ikea lamp i bought it for. It really brightens up my room and my mood!

I bought two of these bulbs for a curio cabinet 6 months ago....They both just stopped working 2 weeks apart. They were good while they lasted...which was not for very long, for the price. Trying to find a better quality replacement.

I got so tired of replacing the downward facing incandescent and/or halogen light bulbs in our display cabinets that I was about to give up on having them lighted... but these LED bulbs look fantastic, are brighter, run cooler, and appear to be outlasting the other bulbs already.

Great bulb for the DeWalt 7881 scrollsaw! It is very bright and, most importantly, it is very cool to the touch! By the way, it fit my scrollsaw perfectly; like if it was made for it. And lastly, if you use your scrollsaw (or any other equipment which requires a bulb) for hours at a time, it will save you about 90% on energy costs.
