Cool toys, hard to wash.
Cool toys, hard to wash. I got these so I could put small amounts of Balsamic vinegar from a big bottle on veggies for my parents. It's so easy now. Before I could never control how much ended up on the veggies. These are a pain to clean. The longest where the worst, trying to get soapy water all the way up the pipette was a challenge. They are well made and easy to read. Great purchase.

Looks like I got a good deal with these. Way higher quality than I thought I would be getting.
I purchased soley for needing accurate measurements for adding liquid fertilizers to hydroponic system verse's eyeballing it an being over or under just a hair or two. Package came very quickly and was well protected from any damage that may occur during transport. The qualtiy is good as far as I can tell I've never owned any prior to these so don't really have any prior purchases to compare it to. However glass is super thick and measurements are clearly legible on sides and I'm pleased with it.

High Quality and only one of the toppers is latex, but I need practice to get the measurements accurate.
The pipettes came well packaged and seem to be constructed well. I've purchased them to get precise measurements for homemade perfumes, and thought they'd be more precise then the drips from essential oil dropper bottles. These are my first pipettes, and so I'm learning as I'm going, but I'm having a really hard time lining the oils up with the measurement lines - air bubbles completely change the measurement, and I seem to measure inaccurately even when keeping air bubbles out. I've spent a lot of time filling and unfilling these, and I don't know that I've gotten any better on my own. I plan to look up using them on Youtube, so my advice is this: if you know how to do this or have a lot of patience to get the technique right, these are very well made pipettes. One thing I wish was different about these is that one of the dropper tops is made of latex. I'm allergic to latex and had to throw that one out. Still, after searching amazon for about an hour, this is one of the few sets that has silicone dropper tops. Most sets have all latex tops. So in my opinion that is something else that this set really has going for it. If all the dropper tops had been silicone/non-latex, I'd of given 5 stars.

found a chemistry professor's instructions
I wanted to put precise amounts of water in a tray to test my scale, which reads in hundredths of a gram. The marks on my old 1ml pipette had grown faint.I wasn't familiar with bulb dropper pipettes. I couldn't draw exactly as much as I needed, and if I squeezed some out, I'd get air in the bottom. An online article for chemistry students explained that instead of sliding the bulb onto the mouth of the pipette, you press it against the top. That way, after you draw the fluid, you can quickly replace it with a finger tip. Then it's a Mohr pipette, where you let in air to drain the liquid to the line you want.If a pipette drains too fast, it's hard to stop it exactly on a mark. it drains more slowly if the level is only slightly above the level in the reservoir. With water, I like to use a 100ml cylinder for my reservoir because it's more than 8" deep. With a shallow reservoir, I could slow the outflow by pressing the pipette against the bottom.Sliding a bulb onto a pipette would be handy to transfer a fluid where precision wasn't necessary.I had trouble finding the "full" line. It would be easier if the glass were unmarked for an inch above that line. I'm less frustrated since I discovered how easy it is to read the pipette against a plain white illuminated background.

Perfect
This product is great for what I needed it for. It includes a selection of 5 glass pipettes. 1, 2, 3, 5 and 10mL and a rubber bulb for each of them. They are all graduated clearly, and you should have no trouble using these droppers to measure fractions of a milliliter. My only complaint is that the 1mL and 2mL bulbs don't stay on the glass as tightly as I'd like them too, but each one is pretty accurate in volume for it's corresponding pipette. What I mean is, you won't have too much of a problem if you mistakenly release the bulb too fast and suck too much liquid into the pipette. They are all pretty accurate as to being limited to the maximum amount of liquid each pipette is designed to measure. You won't be filling the bulb up with a bunch of liquid. A great product for a great price.

Excellent quality, BUT largest bulb is NOT silicone
I'll start with the negative — the biggest bulb for the biggest pipette is absolutely NOT silicone. I have a wicked latex / natural rubber allergy (think hives, breathing issues) and that bulb is definitely natural rubber. My hands are very itchy from just handling it. This kinda sucks, because finding a big enough bulb that isn't rubber is going to be a chore. That being said, everything else is fantastic.I work and teach in a clinical lab so I know glassware. These are just as good as the stuff I get from my suppliers for the lab. Would I use them at work? If it wasn't a clinical setting, yes. Would I use them in an academic lab? You betcha. These are an amazing deal for your home or academic setting. These are thicker and more durable than the stuff we get from our academic suppliers.

Muy bueno
Toda esta bien, exceptuando la tapa de goma de la mas grande. Parece que el orificio de entrada no esta hecho a la medida, pero igualmente es posible añadirlo a la pipeta.

Product is good. My first time buying glass pipettes so did not know what to look for. They were not exactly what I wanted for what I am using for
