This piece is a whole handful of knife, and the blade shape is reminiscent of a KA-Bar to me. Well made to Civivi's usual high standards, the construction is excellent. It came shaving sharp out of the box. While slender, and thus flat in the pocket, the width of the handle couples with the CNC G-10 carving/texturing to give a firm grip. The blade is a beast because of the grind and width. The main bevel is hollow ground while the swedge is flat ground. As with most of the knives coming out of China today, the swedge grind stops short of the tip. I'm trying to get used to that, and it is my only complaint about this (and many other) current import knives. A fun bonus for me is that I can open the knife with the thumb stud on this piece. Severe arthritis usually prevents that. Backside flipper is very smooth and easy to pop the knife open. I am very happy to add this one to my "pigsticker" rotation in my back pocket.

This knife is my daily carry. Cuts well, I have only had to strop it a couple times since I bought it a couple months ago. I only use it to cut cardboard, open packages, and use it on occasional hard plastic like zip ties.The handle is thin, this is the only reason I have given it a 4/5. I have large hands, I wear a XL work glove. Other than that, this is a great knife.

An excellent value for the money, the quality is very good and the knife came very sharp out of the box. It feels good in my hands and the clip is reversible. I will definitely be buying more knives from Civivi.

Beautiful knife, that snaps open, I really like it. I would have given it a 5 star rating, if they would have stated what type of steel they used to make it. A Damascus blade is usually made with a combination of steels. When I buy a knife, I want to know what type of steels used to make the knife. Unfortunately civivi never stamps, there blades like all other companies. The only companies that i know of that don’t stamp their blades are selling cheap blades, I am a knife collector, and I assort my knives by the type of steel used to make the blades, and I can’t remember the steels used to make each knife I buy. So it really makes me mad that civivi doesn’t stamp their blades.

Sharp, bigger but lightweight, smooth open/close, good handle feel

Bought this knife in January 2025. I only use it on things that are easy to open at work. The tip of the blade is bent. The pocket clip is bent.This knife is priced way too high for the poor quality. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.I’ll pay more to get better quality.

It felt to light in my hand and it felt like it was constantly going to break when I worked with it. The Handle would flex significantly if you squeezed it while working. I returned it because it felt too delicate. Not a bad knife if all you want to do is cut boxes or do light work with it.
