- Selection of subtly aromatic eaux-de-vie that will come together naturally as a fully flavoured blend after a period of aging in new oak barrels. Maturation carried out primarily in new barrels (some partially used), bringing a dynamic, toasty complexity to the finished cognac. Blend of eaux-de-vie with a variety of characteristics: some more toasty, with their personality marked by their time spent in new barrels; others more fruity and floral, according to their regional origins. The point of harmony is achieved through the precise and delicate balancing of this cognac's richness and its upfront character.
- Colour: instantly appealing, a clear, bright shade of amber. Nose: initial notes of roasted almonds, fresh toast and brown sugar, complemented by a second wave of more subtle, vine fruit aromas. Palate: its aromatic intensity is reflected in a rich, creamy palate that brings an added dimension of vanilla, with some more floral notes adding a freshness and spontaneity through to a balanced finish.
