Meh. My review is for the waste basket. While it’s substantial in weight, I still can’t justify the price tag. The big selling point for me was the lid... but despite being securely packaged, the lid was all scratched up. This wasn’t damage from shipping but appeared to just be careless workmanship when affixing the little top gripper/handle; tool marks or sloppy machinery the likely culprit. As I’m not using this piece in a bathroom with bright overhead lighting, but rather in a dim garage to deposit ashtray butts (think man cave), I’m not messing with returning it. But these scratches would drive me absolutely crazy if I had to look at it everyday in a clean, lit environment! Otherwise no major complaints. Do know that it’s pretty dang tiny, smaller than most bathroom waste baskets. Also, the lid just rests atop the can, it doesn’t really “lock in” in any fashion; this may be by design if you want to use a liner. Bottom line, if you can catch it on a discount, knock yourself out. But it’s overpriced vs value and hopefully you’ll be luckier than I was and receive one that doesn’t look as scratched up as mine.

Great trash can, not round as I originally thought, much more oval shaped, but I think I'd love it either way, I bought a whole set of the Dublin series from Creative Scents, and the set looks beautiful for staging a bathroom/dining room/ etc. I wish I had a prettier bathroom to really showcase how nice this would match a neutral-style look.

I was looking for a trash container that had a lid and that my dog would not easily tip over. It is sturdy, a bit difficult for my 83 year old hands to lift, but the dog does not tip it over. The lid is another matter! Barely bumping or touching it sends the lid right into the container. If one is super careful one can place the lid atop the container, but shortly, it is dunked inside. I am considering adding a layer of duct tape around the inside,.I do like it, suggestions regarding stabilization of the lid would be appreciated.

This is made of a ceramic like material. This item is oval in shape and NOT round as it appears in the picture. The design scheme and paint was even on the item. The lid fits down on a lip in the trash can. It is a fairly heavy lid and should stay on as long as it remains level. If you tip the trash can the lid will fall off. It could easily break if it falls off onto a stone, ceramic or tile floor. If you have a dog that likes to get into trash cans, then this would probably keep a small dog our but probably not a large dog. If the dog is smart and paws at the lid they could probably knock it off. I am using this to store extra toilet paper. It holds two rolls comfortably.

I LOVE this waste basket. Yes it’s more oval and actually works better in my space than a round one. And it’s resin so it’s tough and should not break or chip. The basket weave makes it a stand out,I honestly don’t know why people are complaining about the lid sliding off too easily. I don’t even want a waste basket with a lid so I just won’t use this one. If I’m having company I always empty the waste baskets first any how. This is the first one I’ve seen like this with a lid and it’s not mandatory it be used.

Since this trash can that matched my other pieces was apparently discontinued or something, I had to settle for an open box one. I had used the open box thing before but was always assured that the contents were perfectly good. That was not the case with this trash can. It was scratched in several places. I guess I'm left having to live with it or get one that doesn't match at this point. It wasn't discounted very much even with the 'open package' thing so I will keep it but remain disappointed. Trash can rating overall is good enough. It is smaller than I expected for the price. Made of heavy enough materials though and I am sure will last at least as long as the bathroom does. At least it matches, and being a matchy matchy girl like my daughter always calls me, I will have to be content.

Last week we purchased the toilet bowl scrubber and were so impressed with the general look, heft and quality that we immediately bought the matching trash basket. WOW, very very impressed again with how beautiful it is and much heavier than we expected. Will last a long time and look good doing it.This is a 5 Star plus product.

I needed a covered wastebasket for the bathroom to keep out an inquisitive dog. This is the only nice one I saw. It's very attractive. Made of resin, so I suppose it can break and chip, but I haven't encountered any problems with normal use. For a wastebasket, it holds a reasonable amount of stuff; I'm only emptying it about weekly. Wipes clean easily with a damp paper towel. No great bargain, but I'm happy with the purchase.

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this item to use as a vase for flowers. It’s perfect and matches the candle holders and decorative balls and dish on the mantle.

Beautiful. Classy. Arrived in perfect condition. This is my third waste basket I've purchased for our house. All are sturdy, do the job, and are beautiful quality decor to boot.
