USE CASE: SLEEPINGThese ear plugs are the MOST EFFECTIVE at dulling noise out of everything I HAVE EVER TRIED - and I have been trying ALL TYPES OF EAR PLUGS / EAR PHONES / HEADPHONES for around 4-5 years. Obviously, they don't eliminate all noise - nothing can - but this can really help if you are trying to sleep in loud neighborhoods or through the day.It takes me around 30-40s every night to insert one ear plug into my ear (by stretching the ear with my free hand, squashing the ear plug into a thin cylinder shape (by rolling between thumb and index), inserting into the ear canal and waiting for it to expand.ONE NEGATIVE: I will say, I sleep on my side, and find these sore/uncomfortable when in the ear that is against the pillow, so I ONLY wear it on the exposed ear (as the other ear is pretty well muffled by the pillow anyway). For me, this wasn't a reason to take off a star - no ear plugs are comfortable when pressure is applied - its their nature I suppose.Further tip: if you are wearing these ear plugs, you can play white noise at a higher volume to drown out more sound / bangs / crashes.

My wife and I moved to India and lived there for 2 years due to my wife's job. As you can imagine there was a lot more noise than us two Brits were used to. On a return trip to see family, I bought loads of these and took them back to India, and they blocked out the Roosters "cock-a-doodle-do'ing" at 6am, the religious festivals bashing their drums every so often outside our apartment, the constant honking of horns and the noise of the Air-conditioning.That was in 2010 to 2012, I'm still using them every night to sleep in 2021. Do you think I've used them long enough to give an honest review? Or should I wait another few years? :-)They work, they're comfortable, I even use the same pair for more than one night (I keep my ears clean) they're good value in packs of 200. I don't like sleeping without them now. As long as the company makes them, I'll be buying them.

I have sensory sensitivities - some common noises irritate me hugely and some cause physical pain. The first time I wore these earplugs I couldn't stop smiling - they make me feel relaxed rather than irritated. They reduce a lot of noise, but not so much that I feel in danger of missing a smoke alarm. I mostly wear them at night and they help me sleep, and I sometimes wear them at home during the day. In several months I have only slept through an alarm clock once, and I was quite sleep-deprived at the time. If my husband speaks to me at a normal volume I can't hear much more than a faint mumble. If he speaks loudly I can understand what he's saying.They are a little tricky to put in at first - watch the video on the Howard Leight website and you will soon get the hang of it. They also feel weird at first but you soon get used to that too. Highly recommended for anyone with sensory sensitivities. My husband doesn't have sensory sensitivities and they help him sleep better too.

I've been using ear plugs for many ears, while sleeping and also during the day not to hear my collegues talking about job during my lunch break.I've always bought them at the supermarket or in some brico center so I tryed many different marks and types of ear plugs and no one of them was actually good. As it was difficult to find my favourite ones, I decided to try to find something different and I ordered the Howard Leight Laser Lite (200 pairs).They are absolutely PERFECT!They are very soft and light and easy to put inside the ears. Once they are inside they expande a lot and in few seconds you "hear" the sounds around you disappear.During the night you complitely forget them, they don't hurts.They are very long lasting. I bought them months ago and till now no one of them is broken or cut (my old ones, all of them, they broke after 10/15 days and they were dangerous).They stay clean, they don't absorbe dirty or dust, and keep their softness as the first day (my old ones became hard like rock and very unconfortable).But the most important think is that THEY KEEP NOISE AWAY! For noise reduction they are the best I've ever tried in my life.Before, noises were reduced, but I still could hear my collegues talking of job. Now, when I'm having my lunch I'm complitely insulated from the external world. Even if they call I don't answer :-)And the price is 1/3 of the price I payed at the supermarket for those unuseful things.5 stars totally deserved!

Suddenly 4 years ago I became a very light sleeper and would wake up at the slightest noise. Enter this brand of earplugs.I have been using themSolidly for over 4 years now and I have tried different brands here and there just for comparison but these are best!You just roll them in between your fingers till they’re squashed and thin then quickly insert them into your ears (it may take some practice to get the angle right) and then push them in, they should feel comfortable. Hold them with your finger as they expand and you’re all set!They don’t block out ALL noise but they do a fantastic job. I completely sleep through my 7 month old screaming at ungodly hours when it’s my night off.Lastly, if these don’t work for you then you’re using them wrong. Facts.

I bought this plugs for sleeping, since i live in an area in construction and there are all kind of noises. Before this gems, there wasn't much sleep, because i work also nights and each morning at 9AM the drilling machines worke me up and i was like a zombi all day. This plugs really saved my sleep, i love them for that.In the same time i bought this ones, i have also ordered Hearos Xtreme plugs which are slightly better at blocking noise, but the Hearos are made from a harder foam and they are not so suited for sleeping, i had a slight ear canal pain.Howard Leight Laser Lite Ear Plugs are very soft, very comfortable to wear for extensive periods without any discomfort, so they win the first place in my oppinion. Also price/quality ratio is great and if you want to wear them for a long time, the best price it's the 500 pairs box.If you're looking for a good night sleep, go for this ones, they are absolutely perfect !
