I’ve been wondering lately if I could move all my lightweight computing needs onto iPad and ditch my heavy laptops. This case makes it possible.Despite the small size of the Typecase keyboard, my hard earned touch typing skills have been reborn. As convenient as the virtual keyboard on IPad can be for short, sporadic entries, anything longer than a sentence feels like a slog and slows me down. Now I can type on the iPad as fast as I think, which may not be all that fast for my wise-cracking friends, but is certainly leaps and bounds faster than the virtual keyboard.The twist style screen is a must. I can still use the iPad as a normal tablet and touch screen, which is often. When I need the keyboard, I spin it around and turn it on. It’s super fast. The multiple options for standing up the iPad screen are welcome. I use most of them often, so the case works great as a stand and has greatly improved the usability of the iPad.I can’t say I use the trackpad all the much. Most of the time I still use the touch screen as a kind of giant trackpad. It’s so close anyway. I just reach over and, you know, touch it. That said the Typecase trackpad is genuinely great and I do use it for sporadic situations.The keyboard isn’t quite ThinkPad level, but is good enough considering the shallow profile. I wish the keys were a softer touch or maybe even rubberized given the size. They feel a little slick compared to my laptops, but I will probably adjust over time. They’re perfectly functional, but don’t feel up to the build quality of the rest of the case.The case is indeed well built and solid. The iPad snaps right in. I feel extra secure closing the lid for the night and knowing the screen is protected now. The blue color I selected is beautiful and the Zagg stylus I bought for the holder looks right at home. The case comes pre-charged and the bluetooth setup is easy. I was running in maybe two minutes.I would definitely buy again from this company. Be aware that there is a second Typecase version that is similar to this case that uses a magnetic attachment. I prefer this snap-in version, but maybe I’m paranoid. My wife bought the magnetic version and it is a little sleeker and lighter. She’s super happy with that version. I still prefer my case when using it as a stand as it completely surrounds the case edges, but that is a minor point.

This was given to my son as a Christmas gift with his new iPad. The flexibility and durability of the product is amazing, especially for the price paid. It gives a great amount of flexibility to the iPad. You can use it like a laptop or with a few quick maneuvers. It’s just a simple iPad with no keyboard attached until you need it.Definitely something in the buy again category

Quality material and easy to use. Very sturdy so it’s very helpful when you wanna move the screen in different angles as a laptop.

Fabulous product and love that I'm not forced into buying a track pad, making the keys larger for ease of use. Really appreciate the backlit keyboard. Would give it 5 stars but the battery life isn't as much as I expected when in use. Also happy that it takes a C-charge cord instead of a micro.

Cheap and works great

Exceeded every expectation - if I could give six stars I would. The multi-angle, rotating feature of the screen holder is genius. I’m able to user my iPad as a laptop if desired, or with just a couple of simple moves it’s in “tablet” mode. Durable construction, protection for my tablet is more than adequate. Keys have an exquisite touch, and the Bluetooth keyboard has never failed to connect instantly. I’m tempted to buy a second one as a backup if this one should ever fail me.I heartily endorse this product for value, sturdiness, and ease of use!

Will the construction of it so far is pretty good no complaints on that.. but as far as functionality goes, you really can’t use any other traditional hot keys that are all displayed on the help menu. All the help shortcuts require that you use the FN key along with the shortcut corresponding key. Well there is absolutely no function key on this keyboard.. I tried all the other special function keys and nothing worked to activate shortcuts. Also, the space bar shows to be for the search bar, but holding it down like the rest of the special function keys does not bring up a search bar..As far as my mistake, I was under the impression looking at different keyboard cases that they all came with the mouse trackpad. And to be honest, it really has not much purpose yes it makes typing a lot easier. If you do a lot of Microsoft Word or emails and stuff like that but otherwise you’re just using the tablet like you normally would because you have to go click on everything on the screen. I definitely would warn you away from this one and get one that actually has the mouse trackpad on it as long as it hacks an actual function button.

I had to get myself a new Keyboard for my 10th gen iPad cause my old one was wearing out after a year. So when i found this one, i specifically wanted one without a trackpad cause that was one issue that kept popping up. The old one would just kinda do whatever it felt like lol. This keyboard is even lighter than my old one. Matches well with my blue ipad, connected immediately to my ipad. The colors are brighter and more vibrant than my old keyboard. Amazing to type on, a perfect fit for my 10th Gen iPad, and above all else. Didnt cost an arm and a leg. It was cheaper than alot of other options. Id rate it 10 stars if i could
