This is very easy to use, just one scoop into the water, let it set, rinse and it's clean. I like the powder format and zip lock bag too, makes less mess and easy to store.

This effectively helped me clean my humidifiers to prepare them for winter usage, and they will also help me when it’s time to clean & store them for the summer. My water is ridiculously hard and difficult to clean with traditional cleansers, and I don’t want to use anything too toxic in our machines. This is also a LOT more cost effective than needing to replace my machines due to the hard water destroying them internally.

This humidifier cleaner powder is very easy to use. Just mix a 1 ounce scoop (included) of cleaner with 32 ounces of hot water. Pour it into the water tank of the humidifier and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. I have hard water, so I let it sit overnight. Afterward, I only needed to rinse and rub off a couple of stubborn spots with a rag. I do think it’s a bit expensive for what is essentially just citric acid.

Clear instructions and easy to use. Just add to water and leave it in till the next day, rinse and that's it. You can pretty much use this for anything that need to be descaled due to mineral deposits and scale build up. This is a very effective must have cleaning product that does not cost much to keep at home.

My dehumidifier was smelling a little musty or mildewy and this cleaner/descaler completely removed the smell. I had only been using my dehumidifier for a week and did not even think that it needed cleaning yet. Fantastic!

Once it’s been 30 minutes, scrub the inside of the tank with a brush and rinse. That’s all there is too it. My humidifiers are sparkling after using it. One note: I do not have hard water so don’t have a lot of scale, so I can’t test how good it is at removing scale, but it’s great at removing the brown and pink bacteria from the setting water. My one complaint is that it’s only 12 uses per bag. Removing one star for that. That's a hassle since it doesn't last long. A larger bag would be better.
