If you, or a loved one, cannot use manual nail clippers or foot files, then you may want to consider this product. It may help people who have limited use of their hands or who otherwise cannot properly grip these tools and will let them address these health needs on their own. The file is VERY quiet and barely noticeable when in use, so if you need to use it on a person who is sensitive to sound (sometimes caregivers may find it easier to address nail care when their loved one is asleep) you should be good to go.The set comes with 8 attachments and plenty of extra sandpaper rings for the nail filing function. The instructions describe the uses of each attachment. There is something specific for callouses on the bottom of the feet, callouses on the heels, corns and callouses on the toes, etc. The kit also includes a shield to help with the "dust" that you're going to get, especially when using it on your callouses.The file feels very gentle. It's not a fast process though. It will take a while to finish your nails. The power button is kind of difficult to use as the off setting is in the middle and you push up or down for forward or reverse direction. I had some trouble getting the button to slide into the "off" position. This is the one drawback that may make it difficult to use for some people. You may need to turn it off and on for them.

First off, I have never had a pedicure, it is something that has always weirded me out. But I go barefoot a lot and get pretty good calluses built up on my big toes, the outside of my feet and heels. I use a pumice stone here and there when I remember or they start bothering me. So I have basically always has calluses on my feet.I decided to give this a try and holy cow. It took me maybe 8 minutes to file down the larger calluses on both my feet with this. My feet are the smoothest they've been since I was a baby. This thing works great. I am so impressed and pleased with the results. I've sold. I'm not sure I'll ever use a handheld pumice stone again after experiencing this.The only thing I hate are the switches. Why are they not easier to switch on and off? It's kind of annoying to try and turn it off and have to mess with the switch trying to get it off. I do have longer nails, but still, it should be easier. The drill got stuck on at one point and I had to use a fingernail to get the switch to move as my finger wasn't cutting it. Stupid switch design and that's why I took a star off.

I have a great deal of confidence in nail tools from this brand and this newest acquisition didn't disappoint! Easy and quick to charge, very ergonomic in its handling and really easy to safely use. It comes with assorted bits for different needs and uses and is incredibly easy to maneuver. I love that I no longer have to set an appointment for an expensive pedicure and can do most of my grooming at home. It is very quiet and has numerous settings for speed that provides a great deal of control in customizing your experience. It is small enough to fit into a bag when traveling and takes up very little room in the bathroom. Very happy with this newest nail tool!

I thought I would give this product a try, since it is a little more portable than the pedicure device I'm currently using. My current device is more like what you'd see at a podiatrist's office, and it's quite powerful (high RPM, high torque, etc.). This one is certainly more for a spa/pedicure type of thing.The bits just slide on the end of it, they don't clamp in. This didn't seem to impact it, and it never came loose during use. The attachments have parts that move internally in them, with the outer part of the attachment connecting to the main unit. This is a bit different than what I currently use and have previously seen, where it has always been more like using something like a dremel tool, where the entire attachment moves. This method of only the end/internal parts moving seems more safe than the dremel style, so I'm happy about that.You can control the direction and speed with two small sliders on the main unit. It seems to work well, even though it doesn't have a high RPM with it, even at the highest setting. It does what it needs to do. Like I said earlier, think of this as more for a spa type use; so it does exactly what it's targeted to do.That said, I think it does a great job of it, so it gets 5 stars from me.

I ordered this professional manicure pedicure kit for my wife and I. We used to go to a podiatrist until she retired, and we are making do without one. We can help each other with our thick toenails, and I have difficulty maintaining the dead and cracked skin on my heels. We will also use the callus bit frequently. My wife is also prone to ingrown fingernails.My wife was the first to try the tool, and she initially thought it was only two-speed. When she hit the + button again, she realised it was a stepped variable-speed tool with 20 speeds. One thing to get used is the two switches: one for speed and the other for forward, off, and reverse. The speed indicator LED does not change much at first, and I can only see three colours as you click from slow to fast.My wife also has to get used to sensing where the two switches are located, so as she was focusing on doing toenails, she did not put the tool in reverse as she attempted to decrease the speed.The top surface is textured, but the bottom half is smooth. At this point, I would have preferred the tool's handle to be textured all around. But as I spend more time using it, I might understand and appreciate why the bottom is smooth. I hold the tool like I would a pencil, so I have yet to become comfortable with the grip.We both like the light so we can see what we are doing, and the dust guard helps limit where the dust flies.The bottom line is that having a pedicure kit in the home allows us to address issues as they arise, and we avoid the hassles of trying to fit appointments into our schedules.

If both apply, this tool is a definite one for you! All of the above apply to me and I am amazed with the speed and ease of which this tool enabled me to take care of all of these issues. And not only with ease, but quickly. And this was all done so quietly as even on the highest speed the operations were so quiet. All of the photoed transformations took me about 10 minutes. I did both feet in that time as well as experimented with a good half of the provided bits. I wasn’t at the stage where I needed or wanted to do a new pedicure and paint, so just took care of the skin aspect of a pedicure to test out this tool. I even went outside the suggested instructions and tried the sanding bands on my heels as a first line of attack and liked the results. My other favourite bits were the cone, rounded tip and most especially the umbrella top for finer cuticle and sidewall work. I would have liked an even thinner similar cylinder or cone shaped tip for work in this area with no grit involved on the flat top. The controls were fairly easy to use with the ability to step progress to one of the 3 ranges’ top speed by pressing and holding the speed button. This saved doing the individual multi-stepped method which I found a bit fussy and bothersome. The other bothersome thing I found with the controls was the on/off, forward and reverse control. As it is an all-in-1 control, I found myself reversing rather than turning the unit off multiple times during use. The action was such a small movement it was difficult to regulate in my opinion. Not a deal breaker by any means, but I would love to see this improved upon. I really liked the overall beefy design for everything involved from the handset to the bits (though no the sanding/filing bands which are tiny). This took away any hesitation on my part to use the force that was required at times while sanding the particularly thicker drier parts. And all again, all with the quiet operation of this pedicure handset. This is definitely one of those things I didn’t know I needed so much until I tried it!

As a guy I had reservations about getting this redicure kit. But my wife told me it was worth it. You see I have had issues with callouses on my feet and on the top of my toes for over a decade and really hate using a pummice stone in the shower. I wanted an easier was to sand down the thickened skin on my feet. So whe it arrives I was anxious to try it and let me tell you this thing is a game changer! I use it like a tiny dremmel tool! it has little abrasive tubes that attach to the one attachements and works like a charm!Now dfor anyone who wants to try this a note of caution...don't just hold the tool on your cornscallouses it's better to tap the are to be treated for a second or tho only or it will get really hot really fast. Anyway; this is a great tool for built up skin on your feet or even hands or elbows. This guy approves!

This has been a great nail drill kit. The various attachments allow for use on several parts of your foot and nails. They are easy to clean and sanitize.The charge is great. I actually didnt charge it out of the box and was able to use it right away.The different files quickly did magic on my fiancé’s callouses and overall feet. Once cleaned and sanitized, i used it for my feet and it was equally effective with no need to charge yet.Please clearly read the instructions before use. To increase the speed, you press up on the top switch. Something that wasnt obvious for me right away.All tips snap in easily with little effort. If i had to be critical, this is where i would be. I have other nail drills that lock the bits into place. This doesnt have that option. I sometimes feel its not as secure as id like it. This could be a mental thing as i havent had a bit pop off.
