The toy is as it is advertised, a take apart toy. It comes pretty much built apart from the scooper.Before the fun can start,be aware that batteries are needed. 5 x AA. This is 2 for the drill and 3 for the truck itself.To insert the batteries an adult will need to remove the covers which requires a very small starhead screwdriver. Maybe the company could pop one in the box.However once all batteries have been added my daughter got straight into it. The drill and screwdriver is the perfect size for little hands and the screws are easily tightened and loosed with either tool.A few more instructions maybe child friendly, would be good to assist the learning.It's colourful and robust. A good toy to introduce STEM play.I would say it's more suitable for boys rather than girls especially in the younger age group. This is based on my daughter who is very much into dolls and princesses and may not be the same for all girls.

Bought for 2yr old grandson who loves it, he can take it apart and put back together easily. A well lived toy.

I was thinking it be one of the big boxes under the tree but no one of the small but Grandson love it

My daughter is nearly 3 and absolutely loved this truck! It took her a while to figure out even with my help how the screws and screwdriver worked and at her age that is fair as this is supposed to be for 3+. Some of the parts (the screws) are also fairly small so I recommend supervision if you don't trust your toddler not to put them in their mouths!After some help she was taking the wheels on/off and pushing it around with great amusement. A few silly little tunes and lights on the thing as well really made it rather fun for her (though less so for us) The thing is also fairly well built for as plastic toy as well. I think we may have inspired a future mechanic here!Word of warning - as with any toy you should put the batteries in first so focus can be playing with the thing. Some of the plastic screws were also pretty tight to start with and needed loosening so she could do it herself. I suggest just spending 10 minutes before you give this to any child beforehand.

This toy is brilliant! It came really quick boxed, with no unnecessary excess packaging.There was very little assembly to do meaning Daddy and E could get straight on to deassembling. Our son is a little younger than the 3 years that this toy is made for so we ensured close supervision but he absolutely adored the pretend drill and taking the wheels off, it took him a little while to get it and kept saying “oh no” every time the wheel came off.What he loves even more is the drill pack going into the bottom of the truck to power it to move on his own. The song, and way it lights up totally captivates him and we know that we are going to get a lot of life out of this toy, which is entertaining but also teaching him.A great price and would totally recommend.

I was drawn in by the size of the toy in the first picture, I would advise all to view the other realistic photos, and read up about the sizes, as the first picture is very deceiving and should not be allowed to be dispalyed, its false advertising

I gave this vatos truck car to my toddler for Christmas and he loves it ! He loves watching daddy trying to fix things and so he loved this drill so he can fix things himself! This is a great idea for kids that love to be hands on building things! The drill is so easy to use and loosens and tightens the bolts perfectly .The toy makes noises and flashes coloured lights , is bright and colourful and is easy to push along. Even though this toy is 3+ my boy is just under that age and still loved it !I would recommend this product!The only downside was there was no extra packaging around the original box so if giving as gift you would have address label stuck on it - but for us this wasn’t a problem!
