The must own thorogood album !
Rockers dont come much better than george thorogood. George is always at his best live, as evidenced by his several official live albums. However none come close to this. This complete unedited concert from rockpalast shows the pure unedited, raw magic of george thorogood and his band when they were young, strong and dangerous. If this album doesnt get your blood pumping, check for a pulse. And not only do you get complete concert on cd but on dvd as well. This visual spectacle adds a whole other level and makes it a true must have experience for the thorogood fan. Buy the thing. Seriously

George & The Destroyers in their prime!
What's not to like if you are a "Old School Fan " of George Thorogood and The Delaware Destroyers, The band flew directly to Germany in the midst of a U.S Tour and flew out immediately to Chicago,U.S.A for a show the next night.German television audiences we're treated to a hot show by a hungry band that certainly delivered the goods. My only complaint is the sound mix, too much Saxophone and not enough guitar but considering this from 39 year's ago , this is one hell of a great " Live " Document and The Rolling Stones took notice on just how hot the band was and did a 1981-1982 U.S.A & European tour with the band as a support act!

Whats wrong with this picture.
This was a rock n concert from start to finish. Rockpalast dose a great job of putting together some great concerts. Too bad George Thorogood was never give that much cover on American TV. Why do we need to have all our best bands go to Europe for us too see them. I should just be glad Rockpalast and the German people were hip enough to do what American networks wont.

The Same Old, Same Old
The set list was pretty typical -- no surprises. The sound was excellent; however, George was hoarse throughout most of the concert, which brought the quality way down in my estimation. Plus, the mix was off; the saxophone was too loud, while in about half the songs George's guitar was lost or down in the mix. On some songs, the bass was barely audible.Unless you're a huge fan or completest, I'd say pass on this one.

Jonty says great box set,
This bloke rocks yer socks off & he loves it. A few different tracks on this set as well as the usuals, i particular like his versions of the Chuck Berry tracks, but really i don't think you get a bad track on either cd & the dvd is excellent in my book. Highly recommended to anyone who likes to move when they play music, i can't get enough of George, rock on.

Disappointing
Not GTs best gig for me. Bit amateurish and the audience dancing on stage is off putting. Wouldn't recommend, more recent gigs better.
