I ordered the shark hooded towel. It's super cute! The colors are vibrant and bold. I think the addition of the buttons are a great idea. You can button your child up so you don't have to worry about them dragging the towel and tripping (of course they'll have to be a bit bigger for that than your average toddler or older). The buttons also allow for quick changing out of the wet suit into dry clothes to give your child a modicum of privacy or at the least the illusion of such.I could see this used as a bath towel at home, but may be better served at the beach or the pool due to the buttons, size and ability to wear. The hood can give extra protection potentially from the sun. It's not too heavy to be hot either I don't think for outdoors. The final bonus is the little drawstring backpack that comes with it. That way your child can be responsible for carrying to the beach or pool themselves. It seems like you could even throw a couple of beach toys in there as well for them to carry. I know the less you as the parent has to carry the better.I definitely recommend this towel. It is a bit pricier than what I would normally spend, but the drawstring bag and buttons make it worth it to me. I think it would also be a great gift for new parents or a preschool age kid.

Even on warm days, she frequently becomes very cold after swimming in our pool. This towel works so well because of its hood and button, which keep it securely in place and covers her entire body. Previously, we struggled with conventional towels—if her head was covered, her body was exposed, and vice versa. The hooded design solves this issue perfectly. So many hooded towels are really just for toddlers and small kids. This one, although it still has a cartoon-y print, is a good size for an older kid. It's very soft and absorbent and has a fun and very vibrant shark design. This feels like a good quality towel, not a cheapo kids' towel. Obviously the shark teeth around the hood are amazing. This is perhaps not worth the full list price of around $40, but if you can get a deal (it seems to often be on sale) this is worth a the cost. It's a nice towel.

I ordered this knowing it would be big on my little one. He is currently wearing size 2t, and this is too large for him to walk around in safely. This is great quality and seems to dry really well. It also holds a lot of water.

I got this towel from the Joiedomi store for my five-year-old daughter. The material is 100% cotton, OEKO-TEX certified to be free of toxic materials. The towel is large, but it is lightweight, easy for kids to use and wear. The buckle at the front is very useful. I got the blue shark color, which is nice. The recommendation is to wash in cold water separately. I forgot to keep it separate, and I washed it in the washing machine with my other clothes, in cold water, normal cycle, followed by drying. It came out like new after washing, and my other clothes were not damaged or stained. I am pleased with this towel, and I highly recommend it!

I got the mermaid and it looks fantastic. I know my granddaughter will love it when we take her to the beach or the pool. It’s not the healthiest towel but who needs a heavy towel in the heat. It’s large enough that if needed she could change clothes in it and not be exposed. The snap button is a plus. It is on the tight side and I hope it doesn’t pull off at a later date. Design wise it’s very nice compared to other ones that I have seen. There is also a carrying pouch that is large and very easy to fit the towel back into it. In fact you could probably put another one in it. The drawer string closest it and you could use it as a backpack to carry the towel. There are two straps that you could easily carry on your back.

This is a really nice towel, but I think it is overpriced for what you are getting. Other than price ,I do think it is a cute towel of good quality.

i get this towel for my daughter because she love mermaids, and i think it’s really nice. here’s my thoughts:advantages:the cotton is very soft, my daughter say it feels good on her skin, not itchy.it’s big enough for her to wrap around and use the hood, she’s 6 years old, and it fits perfect.the design is very cute, she like to pretend she’s a mermaid after swimming.also very absorbent, dries her fast after bath or pool.it comes with a bag, so it’s easy to carry when we go to beach.disadvantages:color is little bit lighter than in picture, but still pretty.after washing, i notice the stitching on the edge start to come off a bit.the buttons not stay close sometimes, so she has to hold it.overall, my daughter enjoy it a lot, and it makes bath time more fun. i think it’s a good buy if you look for something cute and comfy for kids.
