Cute shoe but too tight.

My favorite pair of sandals for many years were Olu Kai brand. Proper arch support in a durable sandal is what I associate with the name. The size chart provided placed me exactly between a 6 and a 7, so I followed the note below that recommends rounding up if you are a half size. Based on how much extra room there is behind my heel, that feels like a mistake. The weird part is: the arch seems to fall in the correct spot, which makes me wonder if a whole size down would have resulted in the arch placement being off. The biggest problem is that the straps seem to be stretching out the more I walk in them. My foot is on the narrow side, but the width of the sandal looks appropriately sized and not excessive in any way. The straps fit into notches on the sides, but definitely pop out when the sandal is not on. Perhaps this is where the extra play actually comes from? Sadly, these are not working out as well as I had hoped.

Easy to break in - true to size. great to slip on and wear with anything- don’t recommend for water and the branch.
