Feels like no shoes
General build quality of these bearfoot shoes is very nice. The soles are designed to give support to individual foot parts and stimulate them as you walk/run. Sole is flexible and soft but does not allow too much of the surface to be felt. The foot insert is too made in a way to allow airflow and support your foot. All very well stitched and glued inside out. SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT and soft shoes that feel close to nothing when worn. I do fell it keeps my feet in place well without any discomfort. The shoes have bit more extra reinforcement at the toes and hill to prevent rips. Nice design with quick pull lace approach. I do not run in these soups but use them for walking. They keep my feet comfy, refreshed and remove extra weight.I ordered the UK ( size and it fits my typical size between 9-9.5

Well made and very comfortable, lightweight, barefoot trail shoes.
I have not had previous experience of barefoot shoes. My understanding is that they are lightweight, do not have a heel drop and have roomy toe area. They can be worn with or without socks. This is the first pair I have tried. They are lightweight, weighing about 250G. I have other fabric shoes that are this light but none lighter. The soles have a ‘grippy’ tread on a thin and flexible backing. The toe section of the shoe is roomy but the fit of the shoe is a bit closer around my (admittedly wide) forefoot than expected. This does not make them uncomfortable as they are so flexible, it just means that worn with socks they grip a little like a soft outer sock in places. When not wearing socks they are roomy all over. They have the expected minimal heel lift. The shoes have a fabric upper, fast-tie shoelaces and synthetic soles. They are very comfortable when first put on and very light-weight when compared with normal shoes and even trainers. I am happy with the feel but will be careful how I use them and what terrain I wear them on until I am bit more used to them. One of my concerns about shoes that have thin soles is how well they will wear. It will not be possible to comment on this until I have had them longer. The website is not as helpful as it could be when it comes to sizing. The shoes are aimed at men and women but the sizing chart does not suggest how to compare a normal shoe size with their product. The UK sizing that is quoted does not specify whether it is men’s or women’s sizes. I am male and generally size UK8.5/EU42 or occasionally 43. After measuring my foot and aiming for a roomy fit I ordered size 9 which turns out to be a very good fit, comfortable but with enough room to let my toes spread. One of the suggested uses of the shoes is for hiking. I would be hesitant about using them in bad weather or rough terrain because of the enhanced feel for the ground I get through the thin soles however apart from this I am happy with them and find them a very comfortable change from conventional shoes.

Comfortable and Lightweight Shoes
The shoes in a size 10 fitted perfectly and they are very flexible giving slipper like comfort with their shock absorbing insoles. The deeply contoured two coloured rubber sole moulded to give heel and toe protection to the upper gives plenty of grip even on smooth surfaces.I liked the modern design of the shoes with their striped uppers with contrasting fluorescent yellow details. The matching elasticated laces with their simple toggle fastening and the heel pull tabs made them easy to put on and adjust ensuring a secure fit.The well padded ankle and tongue and the wide fitting upper all add up to make a shoe that was very comfortable to wear whilst enjoying my walking pastime.I recommend these for anyone who wants a lightweight, comfortable and stylish Barefoot shoe.

Odd feeling when wearing them, not uncomfortable, just different. A bit pricey.
I'd say the sizing is spot on. I usually take somewhere between a 10.5 and 11. The 10.5 in these fit me perfectly. They're certainly lightweight and pliable. Do not expect any cushioning or support from the soles. In fact they feel really similar to surfboarding or climbing shoes. Really easy to slip on and off too. In fact if you dislike slippers (like me) they could easily be used as house shoes because they're so easy to slip on, they're very comfortable and weigh very little. Not bad at all ... so why only three stars? Two reasons really. They're only really "running" shoes if you're running on softer surfaces because they offer next to no support for your joints. I think to market them specifically to being "running" shoes and "outdoor" is pushing it a bit. It makes them sound like they were designed purely for those purposes and I don't feel they were. Secondly, at their current price of £38 they're not exactly cheap.Don't get me wrong, they're not bad at all. Comfy, lightweight and the soles do offer decent grip ... just don't expect them to cope with much in the way of rocky surfaces or offer much support The soles are so pliable you can almost roll them up like climbing or ballet shoes.

Very good for indoors, not so sure about outdoors
The Ulogu Mens Barefoot running shoes, is designed to be minimalistic, giving the barefoot experience. From the initial impression it does feel as the sole is thin compared to typical trainers, the sole almost feeling like flip flops, albeit more comfortable. The ankle support is firm with plenty of cushion. The bottom rubber grips has plenty of tread and on dry tiled surfaces feels very grippy.Taking the trainers out for a quick run in the wet felt decent, although on the wet patio sand stand stones, it did feel a little slippery at times, not when it was fully soaked, mainly on parts that was neither wet or dry.Overall these trainers are well made and most importantly is comfortable, really good for using in the dry, they feel comfortable, but don't expect the trainers to do a lot of the shock absorbing, in my opinion best used for indoor sports, like on treadmills etc. 4 Stars, Recommended.
