There was nothing to dislike. It worked perfectly. Just spray let it sit a few minutes and wipe away mold and black marks on vinyl seat of our boat.

I bought a used boat about 2 months ago. It's almost 30-years old so I'm trying to keep the original vinyl seats and covers in the best shape that I can. I think this product is similar to 303 Protectant that I have been using. This RMR product does a good job of cleaning and putting a nice shine on the vinyl. I'll have to wait and see how it holds up in the long term.I'm not familiar with the RMR brand but they make a variety of household cleaners and now marine specific cleaners. What I like about these cleaners is that they're made in the USA and they're environmentally friendly. They're safe to use on my boat's vinyl.Overall, this was a pretty effective vinyl cleaner/conditioner for my boat seats and covers. I recommend this product.My rating method:1 star - terrible. I wouldn't consider buying it.2 stars - marginal at best. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk.3 stars - average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. If the price is good, I'd probably buy it.4 stars - better than average. Exceeds the typical quality of a product of this type and has a few extra features not usually found on other products of this type. I'd buy it.5 stars - exceptional - far exceeds the quality of products of this type. Hard to beat the quality and features included. Best value for the money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

I had high hopes for this product. My old boat has a bit of yellowing of the vinyl on the seats and sun deck. I sprayed the product on as directed, and wiped it off, and dried it after. I does do a decent job of cleaning, but no more than a wet towel could do- I checked. The color remained the same. I was hoping it would lighten up the yellowing. The problem I have with it is that it leaves a slippery surface after using it. Maybe the slipperiness is a sun-proofing agent. I don't want that on a moving vehicle. A towel wouldn't even sit on the seat now without sliding off. My picture is of one cleaned side, and the other untouched. Not a lot of difference.

If you like your shampoo and conditioner in one bottle this may be for you. Personally, I think a good strong cleaner in a separate bottle followed by a good conditioner might do better on tough stains. RMR's mold remover is better than anything I have ever found on vinyl mold stain removal. It is legendary. This one (not mold remover) is like 70% conditioner 30% cleaner. For a light cleaning with heavy conditioning it works well. You can see from the pictures in order from dirty to 1 pass with minor scrubbing to 2nd pass with minor scrubbing it did get most of the season long dirt off. It might not be fair to expect it to git rid of some trace mold. It does clean and seems to condition well. It does not make faded black plastic look new, nor should it, but I had to try. It is a decent clean and good condition in one fast pass combo product this was on Sea doo upholstery.

Photo 1 before, #2 after product application and 2+weeks later. #3 notice the small shiny spot this was where after application to #1 I tested the product on the shutter opposite photo #1. This shutter had been treated with a boat product that claimed similar results two weeks earlier, this product is far superior to that product. Photo #4 shows results after full treatment with the product we are reviewing. Last two photos show before and after results of application to second story shutters that receive no protection from the sun. I thought we were going to have to replace them, but as I think you can see the results after 1 application I think we can keep them as I still have a lot of product in the bottle.

I recently purchased a 2015 Boston Whaler. The cushions were in good shape with expected soiling for their age. I used this product on them and while not a miracle cleaner, there was improvement. As a protectant, time will tell.

Let’s just say my results were a bit different than the probably photoshopped ad photos. One set is of the captain’s chair and one set it of the engine cover.To be fair, this is a rescue boat that has sat under a tree for ten years. The mold/mildew is deep seated. I used the soft-bristled brush on both. This is the first time I had done anything to the captain’s chair. The RMR got the dirt off, but I am not sure a spray of water wouldn’t have done almost as much.The engine cover had actually already been scrubbed with a steamer a couple of times the day before. And the “before” picture was actually after spraying the RMR, letting it sit a couple minutes, and wiping it off. The “after” picture was after I sprayed a second time generously, let it sit three minutes, scrubbed it in with the soft bristle brush, and wiped it off. Decide for yourself how much difference it made. It is certainly not the eye-popping disparity in the ad.

I really wanted this to work. The pictures on the product page showing mold being removed were encouraging. And, I like that a veteran started the company and developed this product. Unfortunately after several applications per instructions, days apart, the mold that had taken root in my white vinyl remains. I could not observe any change in the level of mold from start to finish.If only, it could make my boat look like new :(I will still probably purchase this product in the future in hopes that regular treatment can prevent the mold from getting worse. But I wanted to set expectations that this product does not remove mold as shown.
