EXCELLENT
The heating bag is very well made, seems durable, and packaged very well. The temperature(s) are very warm/hot and lying on top of the heating pad can feel hot, and I place a towel between the pad and my back. It does not feel too hot when placed on top of a body part. The timer is easy to use, and the timer beeps several times to alert the user that the heating pad is turning off. I do not find the sounds to be annoying, and I thinkthe sounds are a good safety feature.I believe this medical grade heating pad is totally worth the higher cost, compared to others, and I’m very happy that I purchased it. It’s definitely a keeper, and I hope it lasts a long time.

It REALLY WORKS!
I’ve had severe neck pain in one small spot for MANY years right next to my spine just above the left shoulder. Felt like a knot was there. When I pressed on it, I was ready to hit the ceiling from the sharp pain. I had just left PT and they used moist hot heating pads on me every day for another problem. I decided to purchase one and chose this one. I started using the heating pad before I went to sleep making sure the moist side was against the skin. I folded it in half the long way (I bought the largest one so it could work on my back, hips or wrap around my legs) set it for 30 minutes and laid down with the pad touching the mattress. Be careful to set the dial with the amount of heat that works for YOUR body. Turn it down a notch if necessary. It will automatically shut off when the cycle is complete. The pad is extremely easy to use. This whole process is supposed to be healing not hurting. I also decided to try NOT using a pillow and sleep on my back with a pillow under my knees because I could NEVER find the right one. 30 years I wasted a LOT of money and none of the pillows helped. If after 30 years, no pillows worked why not take the pillow away because my head was already unnaturally protruding forward so sleeping on a pillow was pushing my head forward even more). I cold only feel the pain there if I pushed down on that spot plus my neck ALWAYS felt tired (I still have to keep working on the neck fatigue because that’s a different story…not moving my head enough to exercise my neck). After 2 nights of at least trying something new half of the pain was gone! Will continue to use it most nights WHILE I am doing gentle exercises during the day. I’ll use it on some other part of my body because apparently this moist heat stuff really works! Hey go to YouTube! I KNOW I most likely caused what I have. Severe neck pain for many years right next to the spine. I just Imagine the problems I have from not straightening up my poor posture while working and reading for 30 years and not realizing I was REALLY leaning forward naturally as I walked. One day, I decided to keep the identical position and slowly walk past a full length mirror. I WAS SHOCKED THAT I HAD ALLOWED MYSELF TO BEGIN TO AGE FASTER BECAUSE OF BAD HABITS. We DON’T have to be old just because it seems to be the natural way of life. IT’S NOT! The bottom line here is that THIS moist heating pad is fabulous as far as I am concerned.

This pad gets hot. Really nice quality
I’m a daily user of a heating pad and I’ve used them from every price range. They seem to get worse and worse, even if you buy the same brand. This pad is heavy duty, not that cheap plastic that crinkles up. And the cover is thick and soft like heavy flannel. The controls are separate for heat and time, which makes sense. It does have auto shut off but I’m ok with that. Do be aware that it makes a beeping sound when it shuts off, which I wish it didn’t do. I’m a light sleeper and that awakens me. Even the low setting is fairly warm. I had an earache and it was a bit too much without a towel over it. I’m happy with it nonetheless. I’d rather too hot than not hot enough. Quality product. Highly recommend

Keep it on for longer than other heating pads
I have chronic pain. I had back surgery 4 years ago and unfortunately, it didn't take. My back still hurts a lot but my legs have this awful tingling, heavy feeling and it is with me 24 hours a day. My pain meds are only helping maybe 20 percent. I have been using another brand of heating pad for the longest time thinking all heating pads are alike. They aren't. This brand is the best one ever. I can finally put it on the temperature I want and leave it on longer than the 15-20 minutes without touching the unit. The lowest temperature is perfect and I keep it going for 30 minutes. You have choices. Love, love, love this heating pad. I definitely recommend it

Does a great job of providing relief and the controls are easy to set for us older folks (LOL).
This moist heating pad was recommended by my physical therapist. I had my doubts. What a difference. The moist heat penetrates well below the skin and is therefore quite effective relieving muscle soreness and pan. Well made, controls are a breeze to use.

Awesome HOT heating pad -- worth every penny!
Strained my lower back lifting, and needed a heating pad that actually works. After literally going through no less than 4 heating pads over the last few days (SunBeam, WalMart brand, FitRX, Hyperice, all returned!), this one is a WINNER!For only around $20.00 more than what I had spent for those SunBeam, WalMart, and FitRX pads: This heating pad gets (and stays) nice and HOT (up to 166*F, and with moist heat!!), has a 15/30/45/60 min timer, the cord is long, and the pad is the perfect size to cover my lower back. Note: There is no massage feature with this pad, but I wasn't looking for that -- I just wanted a nice, hot pad.My only recommendation is that a nice extra to include with this pad would have been some sort of strap to keep the pad in place. Loving this, and hoping it lasts a long time!

Heating pad is too hot
This heating pad even on low setting gets too hot. I have never had it above the lowest setting, and it is still too hot.

Comfort.
It seems to yield some benefits. My only complaint is it does not stay rigid after a couple nights. The cuffs work their way loose and the sheet is halfway across the mattress
