It's soft and made with love.
Each pillow is handmade in the US-no outsourcing-by a family owned business in Brooklyn. They use quality materials and the goose down is cleansed and hypoallergenic. The geese are supposedly treated humanely by certified suppliers. The pillow is super-soft and despite the medium firm density my head sinks almost to the mattress which is comfortable to me and what I prefer. When it arrived it needed no off-gassing and was ready for use. It's a perfect addition to my bed. That all being said, it's a really expensive pillow. I could buy four or five similar softness pillows with the same amount of money; it does not feel any different than my other down pillows. I appreciate the quality and care that goes into the making of these pillows, but it's not in my budget to add to or replace the eight other down pillows already on my bed.

Luxurious
This must be how the other half live. No way I could afford to pay almost $500 for a single pillow. If you like sleeping on something as light as a feather, than this pillow is for you. It's hand-made in a small family owned company in Brooklyn. The attention to details is exquisite. It's very soft and I like the fact I can mush it around and it will keep its true form the next day. However, it has almost no support. Your head will literally fall to the mattress once you lay your head on it. But it's really soft, luxurious and expensive. So if that is your thing, this pillow is for you.

Luxury in a pillow. Head sinks into bliss. Super soft, heavenly!
I've always been a fan of down pillows since my childhood. I used to call them my "mush" pillows, do to the sinking nature of them. I have never been a fan of the polyester or memory foam variety as they are too stiff for me. I've been using a King size down pillow from Bed, Bath & Beyond, not sure what the brand is off the top of my head, but it was around $130. This pillow is a medium firm but I find it to be softer. When you lay your head down, it sinks all the way to the bed basically, with not much support. I sleep on a Tempur-pedic Cloud Supreme King size bed so it's not a big deal since the memory foam will give me a little better support. It's by far the softest pillow I've ever laid my head on. But again, not everyone prefers this type of pillow, so it's a definite preferential decision. My only gripe is it's a Standard size. With me being so used to a king size, it's going to take some nights to adjust. But the level of comfort is superior! If you can shell out the cash, it's worth it!

This Pillow Falls Flat
I was very disappointed with this pillow. There is absolutely no support for your head. It collapses flat when I rest my head on it.I suppose someone might like this type of pillow, but for almost $500, that's a hard sell for me. You can just buy a pillow case and get the same support.I do appreciate that they are hand made in Brooklyn. The one other positive is that this pillow's material is made with very soft cotton.

Lovely little cloud
There is no doubt that this is a luxury item, pure and simple. If you are paying five hundred dollars for a single pillow....well, lets say you better not be worried about making rent. That said, this is without a doubt the softest pillow I have ever used. It is like a whisper of a dream, a soft and comfy cloud to rest your head on. It offers no real substance, so I use this as a "top pillow" over something more supportive. Wow, is it nice to sink into.

BEST. PILLOW. EVER!
WOW! This is pillow is soft and gives support right where I put it. It has the right amount of fill to work perfectly for my neck, which doesn't have the flexibility it once had because of a neck injury. This pillow came in a plastic zippered sleeve. There are cleaning and care instruction attached to the pillow (no agitator washers). This pillow is so wonderful I might name her!

Amazing!
I don't like synthetic pillows; I'm a down-or-nothing sleeper. The only thing I don't like about my down pillows is that they smush down very quickly, and then there's no head support. This one, somehow, is super soft, and yet supportive. Is it magic? I don't know, but I do know that it's my favorite pillow now.
