The colour not as expected
The colour did not satisfy my expectations :( was waiting for a deep red, but it came as a very bright one, more like coral not like bloody red. Anyway, it is still a good product.

Winter Getaway is a beautiful pink colour which is vibrant and stand out beautifully
essie Original Nail Polish, Winter Getaway is a beautiful pink colour which is vibrant and stand out beautifully. I love essie as a brand of nail polish as the actual polish is made to such a high standard, only one coat is needed to provide great coverage on each nail. It has like other essie brands of nail polishes all have a wide brush which with one stroke will cover your nail, if you have a broader nail bed it will still allow a more even coverage of your nail polish.I also like the fact the nail polish dries quicker than my usual brand, and with the high gloss finish, this makes essie the perfect brand of nail polish. I love this deep and vibrant pink and for that reason alone I am happy to recommend essie Original Nail Polish as it provides everything I need from a nail polish which includes protection for my rather brittle fingernails.I simply love the colour and glossy finish plus it is a nail polish which lasts days rather than hours.Happy to recommend.

Great long wear varnish (4-5 days minimal damage)
I do 2 coats and this creates a perfectly opaque finish. The shade I am using (Join The Club) is a relatively bright glossy blue. I find it easy to apply without imperfections. The brush is quite petite so it’s good for accurate application with only 3-5 strokes needed per nail.It seems to dry at a reasonable pace. I often dent my nail varnish before it’s fully dry but I haven’t had any problem with this varnish (though I am still careful for a while afterwards).I take a lot of baths and showers, do washing up etc. and have found that I get a reliable 4-5 days from this varnish with only minor wear and tear.I’ve found with other nail varnishes that I can’t get through a weekend’s worth of wear without getting big chips and cracks, so much so that it puts me off even bothering to apply it.My nails are quite strong but not indestructible so the damage occurs where my nails bend. I expect the length of wear with this varnish will depend on whether you have strong healthy nails. If you don’t I’m sure you could still get good wear if you cut your nails shorter to avoid them bending.I would definitely recommend this range of nail varnishes.

Join the Club - Blue
This is a lovely royal shade of blue. The nice thick brush makes it easy to apply, if you have narrow nails you may find if you're not careful you go onto the cuticle. You get reasonable coverage with one coat, though on some nails it was a little streaky and required a second coat to get full coverage. It dries reasonably quickly and the finish is a lovely, glossy blue.I didn't get 24 hours without it chipping. But I am running around after two children and am not overly careful of my manicure, I also didn't apply a top coat. It lasted through the birthday party I wore it for, so I'm happy. It came off easily with nail varnish remover and didn't leave any blue staining on the nail.Overall - very pleased. I can see this will be a shade I wear often.

Nailed it
Another one dictated by her.Why this is particular shade is called ‘I’ll Have Another’ isn’t explained but to suffice to say it’s grey, although it does appear to have a faint blue tint in there too (and the company has more than 100 shades of polish to consider). The thing is, it’s different to the usual colours of red, pink, silver, etc. and looks the part, being neither prominent nor inconspicuous. However, I did find it was a bit 'streaky' and I had to go over it a couple of times. It’s rather expensive compared to other brands, but I like this because it’s an unusual shade.

An unusual mid-blue
This is a pretty, vivid blue shade that in life seems to have slightly less of a greyish cast than the Amazon photos suggest. The colour is very close to that of IKEA's blue bags. Sorry it's not a glamorous comparison, but I had one to hand, and they're very recognisable! A single coat gives almost complete coverage, and is only slightly streaky. A second coat gives very good cover. Nail polish doesn't typically last well on my nails, which are unusually bendy and so cause the hard finish to the polish to fracture - this has made it almost 48 hours before it started to chip... Which is pretty good for me.

Lovely
This is a lovely Nail Polish. The colour is right on trend, it is a lovely light grey. I do like Essie, the brush is a lot thicker than many other nail polishes on the market and I prefer this. You can cover the nail in more or less one sweep. This is one of the fastest drying polish I have tried, the first coat felt like it was dry in around twenty seconds. A few coats are needed for a beautiful glossy finish. As soon as it arrived my daughter asked if she could use it for a party she is going to next week. Essie nail polish lasts as good as any other brand and seems to be a favourite with the younger generation and is good value for money. A well deserved 5 stars.

A lovely, unusual shade of grey
This is a lovely, pale shade of grey with a hint of lilac. I found it easy to apply with the brush and also found it dried quickly. I felt two coats were needed for a solid, even finish. (When I tried applying one coat I found the nail polish didn't last/ chipped quite easily.)With two coats, the nail polish lasted a few days but at that point chips and nicks started to appear. I was a bit disappointed, as I'd been hoping for more lasting power based on the product description, which mentions it is chip resistant etc.Overall, I really liked the product though and would recommend this if you're looking for a lovely, unusual shade of grey nail polish.
