Works as advertised

I looked at a big box hardware store and was shocked at how expensive their router bits were. I bought this variety pack. They worked well for my project and allowed me the option of choosing how much round over I wanted.

I wanted a 1/2" roundover bit with a 1/4" shank. What I didn't realize was that the roundover bit would fit my router shaft coupler, but that the cutting head would not fit through the surface-glide of my router tool. You'll need about 1.5" clearance hole to make it work. I did a workaround that I wouldn't recommend, so I won't describe it. The tools appear to be sharp, good quality and made really nice cuts up the grain. They do not like to travel down-grain but still work okay. The bearings all seem quite good in the 20-30 linear feet that I cut so far.I would buy this set again.

I'm pretty new to the routing game. I dug up my dad's old Craftsman router and needed some bits for a project I was working on. These are way cheaper than you will find at the hardware store. After trying them out they seemed to cut nice roundovers without any issues. No complaints!
