The 35/2.8 needed this
I don't usually use lens hood because it just makes the camera bigger. However, I did notice a nice difference with using this on the Zeiss 35/2.8 vs not having it. It works well, and the little eye cutout in the square hood is ok. Still blocks but a little less so. I was also able to transfer this to the Zeiss Planar 50mm I use on my film Leica, but I ended up returning that lens. I have a Zeiss Sonnar 50mm too, and unfortunately it has a different filter thread size, but I will buy one of these for that lens as well. Good quality. Wish I didn't have to buy these at all. Makes the camera look more pro.

Haoge Round & Square Hood for Zeiss ZM 35mm f2 and ZM 50mm f2 Lenses
I have purchased many different Haoge lens hoods over the years and have always loved the design first and foremost, but the build quality, workmanship as well as fit & finish are all top-notch. I decided to buy one round and one square for my 35mm Biogon and 50mm Planar ZM lenses, but still can't decide which I like the most. I like having both because it helps me determine quickly which lens is which when pulling them out of my camera bag since they look almost identically.Besides the design, one of the stand-out features of these particular hoods is the way they attach. They attach with a push on and then twists directly to the bayonet for a super tight and secure fit. I much prefer a bayonet mounted rather than to the filter thread. The design also allows you to use a filter. If you have either of these Zeiss ZM lenses, I highly recommend these hoods to protect your investment and to save money over the Zeiss branded hood.

Perfect fit!
The media could not be loaded. Great hood, It’s bayonet mount so removal is ultra quick, it is permanent mounted to my lens and hasn’t failed me yet!

Solid alternative to Zeiss
Still more than I think a hood should cost but at half the price of the Zeiss version I'll take it.Works well on m 35mm f/2 biogon ZM and I like that you have to push down before turning to remove it.

Works on Voigtlander 28/1.5 nokton vm
I tried various scenarios and so far no difference in vignetting with or without this hood on a Voigtlander 28/1.5 nokton vm on Nikon ZF or Leica m240. On the Leica it blocks about as much as the LH-6 hood which isn’t too bad to begin with. Not sure on lens flare yet. Will keep trying it out.

Like a glove!
Voigtländer Nokton 35/1.4 MC (VM)Fit and finish are superb! You might be (as was I) dismayed by the price but good luck finding an original LH-6 lens hood, new or used, for close to this one.Haoge, I am thoroughly impressed with your products. I have an M-mount to E-mount adapter from you guys and love it! I am loving this hood as well!It requires a bit of a push and twist action to get the hood situated onto the lens, but once you get the hang of it it's a snap. It fits perfectly and best of all it does not create any additional vignetting. The matte finish matches the finish on the Sony A7RII so that's an added bonus. The lens cap can be used while the hood is on, another bonus.Definitely worth the price!

Works better than the Summicron hoods, really nice
Using this with a 35/2.8 Zeiss ZM. It works and feels as nice as the OEM circular vented metal Japanese-made hood but being rectangular and notched I think it looks better, more like a modern Leica 35 but more compact. Also you can use the original 43mm lens caps (I replace the lousy Zeiss caps with some modern Nikon knock offs that are much easier to grip). I especially like that it adds very little depth to the lens/camera, less than 0.5". Bayonet mount is great, feels as solid as the factory hood. Hate to shop at Amazon and buy Chinese slave labor products that enrich the Bas Tard Bez OS but I tucked my morals under the mounds of money I made on the stock market and pray we can take our re venge on Jef fery sooner than later!

Feels solid and fits well
Feels well built and stable on the lens. One thing to note, neither good nor bad, is if you use this style of hood, manual lenses with aperture tabs will leave your fingers close or in contact with the back of the hood. I have moderate finger sizes so while a little snug, not an issue for most adjustments after a bit of practice

Perfecto para mi Voigtländer 40mm
Ajuste perecto identico al original a un costo de menos de la mitad. Cuidenlo mucho por que, por alguna razón, siempre se pierde después de sesiones con clientes o otros compañeros

Solid alternative lens hood for the ZEISS Biogon T* 35mm f/2 ZM Lens
A bit on the pricey side, but it is high quality and it is less expensive than the Zeiss's lens hood. The lens hood itself is full metal in matte black finish. The fit onto my Zeiss 35/2 ZM lens is perfect, though it adds bulk and weight to the lens. The lens hood only blocks small portion of the the bottom right quadrant of the viewfinder, and it does not impede the focusing patch of the viewfinder.

Worth it
Fits great on the zm50mm f2 allows you to use a filter as well unlike the hood for the zm 28 2.8 I also bought that will not fit over the filter and I tried 3 different filters including slim low profile

Die perfekte Alternative
Schöne stabile Gegenlichtblende. Sitzt fest und ist eine sehr gut Alternative zur Voigtländer LH-6. Ich kann sie uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!
