Pinot Noir and a small amount of Chardonnay grapes were selected from Boschendal’s finest vineyards and harvested early at lower sugar levels to achieve the bracing freshness required for the making of base wine for a classical Méthode Cap Classique.

Underrated
A really enjoyable economy alternative to pink Champagne - very lively with outstanding flavour, not over dry. This wine is, in my opinion, very underrated - not thought to be very good, perhaps, as it's Non Vintage. Not so - I shall be buying again!!

Surprising for the price.
So decided to have a go with South African sparkling wines.1) Package arrived uber well packed, 'solid' simply does not do it justice.2) Lovely tasting3) Bubbles are very long lasting4) Very easy to drink (Far too easy)Each to their own, nothing to write home about,but for the price of a supermarket Prosecco, you can't go wrong with this. Would I purchase this again? I already have.

Costs £8 at the winery in South Africa!
We have just returned from South Africa, we visited the beautiful boschendal winery( a must if you got to South Africa!) and we really enjoyed this MCC (champagne) at the winery it was £8 a bottle so at this price it is definitely a bargain!I'm on my 3rd case!Not too sweet and actually tastes like champagne not like prosseco.

Fabulous daarling!
My new favourite! Delicate bubbles delicate flavour. Brilliant value for money but will still save for special occasions. On my 2nd case now and it won't be the last! Thank you The Wine Show for the recommendation!

Nice dry "blush" rose
Nice dry "blush" rose, bottle fermented a la champagne (as opposed to some Aussie fizzies which are carbonated). Definitely worth considering if on offer.
