This is truly is a fun boat, and I was genuinely surprised. It seems to be built well and the supplied brushed 390 motor /jet drive moves the boat with authority. The throttle limiting knob on the transmitter is a great touch and a must for smaller pools and ponds. It's pretty quick in max throttle and will quickly run out of room. The deans connector is great because a wide variety of batteries can be used and this little ship sings with 30c 2s 1800mah. The supplied batteries are adequate and the included charger does take a good bit to charge them, but a good smart charger like the htrc B6V2 makes it much quicker(and probably safer the included USB charger gets very warm). One useful mention is I noticed the boat needs a bit more steering authority (travel) so moving the servo linkage to the outer most hole greatly improves this. It'll turn on a dime at slow speeds. In essence it operates just like a real water jet craft. I can spend hours zipping this thing across the pool. It's super fun. Experienced rc'ers will also notice that the boat is easily upgraded. All in all this a super fun rc boat and worth the price. The fact it has water jet propulsion and no prop protruding from the transom makes it safer, no risk of prop strike if you're in a pool with it. I recommend this for anyone looking for a full function rc boat that doesn't want to drop 300+ bucks.

Fun toy! Works straight out of box once batteries charged. Long run time and good distance. Simple to use.

Didn't even get through one use before the motor started smoking and shorted out. Waterproof like the Kursk.

Love, this boat. Best $50 I've spent. Looks great, takes on freaking rapids.. like upstream in the river... shocked me!! Price is absolutely right! Had a blast! Doesn't weight anything so toting it around is with ease. Durability... don't hit anything with rear peice... it broke on mine.. but I repaired it! And also. Bought a new peice off aliexpress! Incase you need one!

I'm having a lot of fun with this little boat. Even my wife and daughter who aren't interested in RC are having fun with this.This boat is more hobby grade than toy grade. It is very well built and the electronics in it are good. I was kind of impressed with the radio. It is much nicer than I expected. It's got a foam wheel and all the adjustments on it you'd need. It even has telemetry. It will warn you when the boat's battery is low and if you are taking the boat out of range.It only has a brushed motor so it's not super fast but it's fast enough to still be fun. It is also very stable on the water. Since it's a jet boat boat, you don't have to worry about a prop getting tangled up in weeds.The boat has a self righting feature that does work as long as the battery stays in place. I was thrashing the boat around and flipped upside down. I tried to self right but it wouldn't. Turns out the battery was knocked out of the holder and had thrown off the weight balance. Luckily there was someone in a kayak close by to rescue the boat for me.Speaking of batteries, two are included. I checked other places that sell this boat and all of them only come with one battery. I was having so much fun with this I forgot to keep track of the runtime. It was respectable though, at least ten minutes. It also comes with two of the rubber nose cones that protects the front of the boat in case you crash into rocks.I'm thinking about putting in a brushless system in it and see how fast I can get it to go. The only real con I have with this boat is that it has a combo ESC/RX. I would much rather have a separate receiver so I can reuse the radio.If you are interested in getting an RC boat, check this one out. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
