Comfortable for a steel-toe
I'm an IT Security and Systems Engineer. Recently, I took a position with a concrete precast company as their IT person. Never in my career have I needed to wear a hard hat, safety goggles, and steel-toe boots (shoes). I didn't want to get actual boots because hey, I'm IT, not someone that works with the concrete. I decided on these because they look like sneakers for the most part. I'm glad I did. They fit well, are comfortable, waterproof, and clean up easily. My company gives us a credit of $50 twice a year towards getting our safety shoes/boots, so this didn't cost me anything upon reimbursement. One thing I'd recommend though, wear thicker socks because if you happen to switch from regular shoes like I do, to these, wearing no-show socks will hurt a little as the ankle area will dig into your skin. I wear a pair of dress socks and just pull them down over my ankle bones on both feet and it's perfectly comfortable.

Peeling?
Not too sure what's going on with the bottom here. A layer of the bottom of the shoe, just the red part, is peeling and Ive only worn them to the gas station to work. Havent even worked a full day yet. Will update after work. Shoes are very comfortable and they look nice. Breathable and arent like any work shoes Ive had before. Really hoping this peeling issue isnt anything major.Edit: Okay these shoes are hella comfortable. Like. Holy crap. Even with the peeling in about to wear them down to nothing because they are pretty awesome. The toe doesnt hurt my feet, thought it might. Theyre breathable. Flexible, comfortable.

Disappointing shoes
Shoes are heavy, which is understandable since they are steel toe. The heels are super low, which allows for your foot to slip off the shoe, which in turn becomes a safety hazard. Ex I pushed a wheel chair up a ramp and my shoe slipped off- even tho they shoes fit tightly and my laces were also properly tied- anyway, I almost tripped over the shoe and nearly had the wheelchair roll back on me along with the passenger. Thankfully I was able to stop the wheelchair by turning sideways and holding it with my body, while I used my right arm to reached for my lost shoe. I’m just glad no one got hurt. The shoes also ripped rather quickly with normal wear and the soles, which did not have much traction to begin with, were completely gone in less than a month.Shoes are also not comfortable, I had to purchase shoe inserts to make them comfortable.Only reason I did not return them is because I wore them to work when they arrived. I had hoped they would be more comfortable once I broke them in, but that did not happen.

I’m very happy with this purchase!
These are really cool shoes a friend had gotten a pair and told me they where steel toed I like the fabric material but was a little concerned they would get snagged on stuff at work but actually they have been much more durable than leather boots I have had when I have bumped into things they don’t show any sign and the fabric material still looks great! I’ve been really surprised! I have already recommended them to people I know the only thing I would tell someone is it seems they run a little big so if you want a 10 maybe get a 9-1/2 but that’s just my opinion

Tried to give them a shot.
The media could not be loaded. I waited until my husband was able to actually give the shoes a shot. We bought the shoes 8/15, got the shoes 8/16. My husband wore them 8/16, 8/17,8/18, and last night 8/19 when he had an incident. He works at a snack factory and is a forklift uperator when he stood on the side tire and slipped. He works in a chip factory where there are wet potatoes skins everywhere on the ground. He said the shoes are comfortable, a little heavy but that’s expected. The material is breathable and lightweight. It’s definitely a good shoe otherwise. I only wanted to write this to let it be known that this is the issue we are having. I searched and read reviews for two days before I found these and he still slipped. My husband got a better job and we wanted to start out with good shoes etc. he fell landed on his back and the helmet slipped a bit so he has a huge knot on the back of his head. Maybe it’s the shoe not the whole company but it’s upsetting3 stars because of the slipping issue

Sturdy
I got these for my grandsons new job. He says they are comfortable. He also stated they were a little heavier than he expected.

Not very good
These really are not for any heavy duty work. They don’t have anything reinforcing the fabric surrounding the shoe. Often my foot was hurt by the shoe itself, losing form and the steel toe hitting my foot. They will get wet on the inside if it rains or gets wet. I can’t try to deinfluence enough. They are really horrible

- all advertised sizes on these shoes are women sizes so keep that in mind while ordering if you want a size to fit your feet as its not clearly described.was able to give these to the mrs as she needed some work shoes as well.

I was expecting size 7 but I guess I got 6.5. Too tight. Need a size bigger than this.
