Great for the price.
I've been using this for. Few days now.First day I literally shoved it in the screen, plugged it in and started driving. Later that day, I plugged it in to the computer, found the files and checked out the recording. It's not film level images but considering the price (£18 I paid) it was pretty good. I could pause the film and see the number plates of cars driving towards me.the cable that it comes with is really really long! I've wrapped it around the rear view mirror (having mounted it just slightly below and behind it so I can't really see it at all when I'm driving) then it's under the sun visor, down the side of the window and then coiled up and tucked in the glove box before finally plugging in to the middle of my dash. The instructions are rubbish. One side in Chinese and one side in 'chinglish' as my Chinese friend likes to call it.I found it easy enough to change the time and set the loop and other options without any reading. You can choose to record in 5 or 10 minute loops. I bought a memory card so it will just keep recording and eventually over write the videos when it runs out of space. The night vision isn't great. You can pretty much only see lights but again, it's very cheap to start with. Can't expect miracles! The lense seems to be a bit of a fishbowl typeLense so it's got a reasonable field of vision. The parking function was easy to set up, it will start up its self if anyone bashes the car while I'm not in the car. There is a microphone on the camera which can be switched on or off at the touch of a button too. I like that little feature as I'm sure I will be able to use that against the husband when he forgets what I've told him again. Ha ha.Overall. It's a great piece of kit for the price. I'm tempted to buy another as I have 2 cars to save swapping it around.

Neat little gadget
For the price this little camera is very good. It's small and light yet the picture quality, even in darkness, is better than I expected. Sound recording quality less so but I don't regard that as important. I've been using it with a 4Gb SD card which gives just over 20 mins recording time. As the maximum recording loop is 10 minutes this works just fine. Using a 2-port USB charger socket in the car I can run the camera and charge my 'phone simultaneously without an issue. If not plugged in the camera battery only lasts a few minutes. The one major drawback with this item is that the instructions provided are just awful. Quite unintelligible. With no useful instructions it took me about 20 minutes trial and error to set the camera up the way I wanted it. Still a little uncertain about playback through the camera but removing the card and playing directly on my Windows laptop is easy enough. All in all, this is a neat gadget that just might prove more than its worth if you do a lot of city driving.

Can't work it, sending it back!
I have given 1 star because it looks nice and is small and lightweight. Down-hill from there though, I'm afraid.Issue 1: I have never had anything to do with this kind of product before and stupidly thought that even though it was really cheap to buy, the instructions would be in 'English' and possibly with pictures showing you what they're talking about. But no, the instructions are written in gobbledygook with virtually no visuals at all. I have tried and tried to make sense of their descriptions of how to operate it, but just cannot.Issue 2: I didn't realise I needed a memory card. Very hard to find a Class 6 TF card in the town I live in. Ended up with a class 4 but suspect an 8GB might not be big enough for a 5 hour journey.Issue 3: All I can get is about 10 seconds of video then the screen goes to two options: Mass Storage or PC Camera. It doesn't do anything else and I have to unplug the lead to even switch it off!I know I am (technically speaking) an ignoramus, but I usually do manage to work things out somehow. Alas, not this time.I bought it to use on a long journey in a hire car. I travel tomorrow, so no chance of finding out how to use it in time, so shall leave it behind and return it as soon as I get back. Any chance of a refund on the TF card? No? Gosh what a surprise.

This is a good little camera for the money
This is a good little camera for the money, although I nearly returned it as I couldn't get the SD card to lock into the slot. It's worth noting for others that you have to push the card hard into the slot with a finger nail so that it disappears completely. I don't know how people come to have a clear instruction manual with colour photos. The Chinese to English translation in mine makes no sense at all unless you're fluent in gibberish, and no colour photos. Having said that it's pretty easy to fathom and does a good job.

Great camera but gobbledegook instructions that nearly resemble English if you look closely enough
The camera itself is fine, I have no problem with it. What IS wrong with it are the instructions that come with it which look like some Chinese person with as much knowledge of the English language as I have with the Chinese language has used Google Translate which has spewed out the biggest pile of gibberish I've ever seen. I've had to figure out how to use it myself as I'm not clued up on Double-Dutch.For that reason, and that reason alone, I've knocked off 1 star

A good, average quality dashcam
A good, average quality dashcam. The footage is clear (enough to read number plates and more importantly record any accidents). The night vision is clear enough to make out the road and objects but with no real detail. I fit this with the hard wire kit so there are no unsightly cables and the 12V socket is free.

Seemed a great cam but never used it as I had to send it back, got an instan refund so thumbs up. I had to send it back as it would not stick to anything at all; Inc my windscreen. Other that the defective holder mount not sticing it did seem to be a good cam.
