Piano Exam Pieces 2019 & 2020, ABRSM Grade 1: Selected from the 2019 & 2020 syllabus (ABRSM Exam Pieces)

A dull selection
A bit of a dull selection of pieces compared to previous years. Hard to imagine an ABRSM committee deciding that these would do the job of inspiring young pianists to keep going! If you want to hear the pieces before buying you can find lots of recordings on YouTube if you search "ABRSM piano Grade 1 2019". They also have very short samples on the ABRSM website. But, as with all of the ABRSM exam books, it's necessary if you want to do the exam, and nice that you only have to get one book that covers all of the pieces and is not too expensive. But if you can wait a few months (until July 2020), the 2021 pieces have got to be more interesting than these!
