I am so delighted with my yad. I can read from the Bible without having to touch the pages if I choose.Not a fan of wrinkles or tears. This is going to help me not tear the pages. I get a little anxious reading at times.I love the size. If I put in an the bottom of my hand just before the wrist and stretch my index finger, it is that size.

I am a rabbi who isn't currently leading a congregation, and I'm doing a lot of independent life cycle events. I have an independent bar mitzvah coming up next year, and this will be perfect for use wherever they decide to have the service! It's small and thin, but still has significant weight and heft to it. It's very comfortable to hold, and very simple and nice looking. As a rabbi, I'm pleased!

Way nicer than I expected. I expected it to be lightweight and hollow tin or something. It’s solid, it’s got heft. It’s not too heavy but it has substance. The chain is short, only about 4 inches total. It came wrapped very carefully in tissue paper. It’s nice!
