A well put together device platform for things such as a Fish finder, or gps etcOn one end you have the fitment to the boat, or which ever platform you are fixing this mount to, screws and nuts are included for that fitment or for fitting the device to the mounting plate.You then have ball connectors on the host end and a ball connector on the mounting plate end, a RAM style connector sits between them offering unlimited totation of both ends.The entire system is very sturdy and suspect it will easily hold a multitude of devices such as a GPS or fish finder all can be held with the rubber strap for easy removal or attached to the mounting plate via the numerous screw holes and secured by the included screws/nuts.A nice well put together bit of kit.Currently listed at £20.99 (there is a 10% off voucher at the time of review)

The KOVNISE Fish Finder Mount Base arrived simply packaged in a clear plastic bag.In the bag you get a three piece mount, a rubber security strap and a set of four mounting screws.The base plate is designed to be attached to a suitable surface and the mounting plate is then free to swivel and rotate in any direction.The mounting plate is predrilled with a variable hole pattern so that devices can be bolted directly to the base or if this is not suitable then the rubber security strap can be fitted to the plate in two positions giving a quick additional mounting option.All parts are nicely moulded from nylon and the locking clamps tighten to a high degree.A good value mounting option for the small boat owner.

make sure you tighten the Allen bolts on the base and the mount really tight. Or it will wobble on the boat.pain in the butt to remove the mount and tighten it up. Just make sure you do it first. the holes accommodate even a 9 inch lowrance mount.

Mi è piaciuta la leggerezza dell'insieme, la praticità di posizionare a 360° semplicemente ruotando una delle 2 sfere e bloccando il tutto con una pratica vite in maniera semplicissima e veloce e senza attrezzi. La base è dotata di molti fori per posizionarci sopra l'apparecchio scelto senza problemi di centratura, ha una lingua in gomma per attenuare le vibrazioni e fornire maggior grip a quello installato.ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo.

This thing is very well built. It has quality materials and is well made. It was made to be versatile, there are many uses, limitless in fact. You can mount just about anything to it and it is made in such a way that it will hold even heavy objects securely. I think that it would be well suited for use on a boat and would hold up to the environment and the tossing and bumps of rough water.For this price you will get a great value. This is one of those items that once you have one you'll think that you can easily use a a few more.
