super tame mildy sweet flavor, nice apple chunks, works microwaved also
the flavor is pretty tame, you mainly get the cinnamon coming through, but it's not intense of a flavor, lightly sweet overall, very faint apple flavor. i do think it has an almost stale-like flavor as an undertone, maybe from the protein powder since i dont think it's a flavored version, it's just plain protein.the oats are pretty thick, so both soaking overnight and also when microwaved, the oats stay firm, very hearty feeling. i definitely prefer it soaked overnight, using about 78g of milk, it brings out a lot more flavor and something about cold oats is pretty nice to the palate. microwaving these, i feel like the flavor fades quite a bit, and the oats stay a bit firmer, almost dry feeling, still good, but these are definitely better left overnight. the apples themselves are also pretty nice, they have no real strong flavor, or mouth presence, but they are a nice light chew and you do get a tiny bit of an apple taste.very hearty and filling, i really like oats and oatmeal, so for me these are great and the protein is nice too, i like eating this on days where i dont want to scoop protein powder and have a bit more calories to spare for the day.

Sweet with hints of cinnamon and apple chunks.
You get 10 individually packaged apple cinnamon oats. You just add them to a mason jar and add 1/3 cup of milk and let them sit overnight. The ingredients include some dairy in it although it is 99% lactose free. It's a delicious way to start the day. It's already sweet with some nice hints of cinnamon in every bite. The nice chunks of apple add some nice flavor as well as texture to it. With a shelf life of 3 years there's no rush to eat these.

Disappointing for the originally listed price
Compared to the Proper Good pre-cooked oatmeal bags of the same flavor, I found these rather disappointing. I put milk in them as directed and after sitting overnight they were still not very well cooked. It would be helpful if there were also a cooking option listed for making them with boiling water, as I imagine that would work better but I haven't tried it yet. They also didn't taste very good and had an off flavor, although recognizing that these have 15 g of whey protein added to them vs. only 3 g in the pre-prepared oatmeal bags. They tasted like they needed more salt and were on the too non-sweet side for me. Would not purchase, and definitely would never purchase for the >$3/serving (each serving is about the size of an ordinary instant oatmeal pouch from any grocery store) as the price on these was originally listed as. They might be worth it as a high protein oatmeal if they were half or less the price originally listed.

Tasty treat but price is too steep
These are really easy to make, and taste delicious. They are on the sweeter side. Also they are a bit small portions and not very filling.I tried making them with the instructions the first time and it came out really liquidy, so I recommend experimenting until you get your preferred consistency. Afterwards, I switched from milk to water and put just a little over 1/4 cup liquid. I usually prefer my oatmeal made with water, and this was really tasty that way.$34 for a pack of 10 small pouches that aren't super filling is steep, I would not recommend it for the price, and I would not buy it again. Just buy a bulk container of oats and make your own, and you can control the level of sweetness and flavors. Get this only if you want a quick meal and don't want to have to think about it.

Tastes good! A little bit sweet, but does a good job sticking with you
This is a super convenient way to get overnight oats to happen. I tried it both "raw" and soaked in milk overnight. Both were good! For my taste, this is a bit on the too-sweet side, but that's probably just me. I would say it's about the same sweetness level as apple cinnamon oatmeal packets from Quakers.Compared to that version of oatmeal, however, this is much more... nubbly. Not just a smooth paste, the oats maintain some bite even after soaking overnight. The apple bits are also more interesting and very tasty.I'll probably stretch this a bit by adding some plain old-fashioned rolled oats. With that, I bet I can get the sweetness level just right.Overall, good choice for a middle-ground between following a recipe to prepare your breakfast and something that is pure grab-and-go. I would recommend giving it a try!

15g Protein
The Proper Good Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats were easy to prepare. Just add 1/3 c. milk and package contents in a container with a lid, shake, and let sit overnight. Easy way to get 15g protein. However the taste isn't for me. I didn't find it to be sweet enough for me but I didn't deduct for that since taste is very subjective. Price seems high compared to buying oats and making it on my own but you can't beat the convenience if the price isn't a deterrent for you.

Tastes delicious and healthier than you would think
I've tried a lot of high protein overnight oats and there is usually an after taste to them This tastes delicious. i make it with coconut milk and there is not aftertaste or bitter tastes. Part of the reason is probably because this product uses sugar but it also has a lot of apples and cinnamon too. One of the best tasting overnight oats I've tried. It's a bit expensive but you're paying for the convenience of the little packets as well as the protein. If this were a little cheaper it would be the only overnight oats I eat but it's still worth the price due to how protein packed it is!

Review for Proper Good Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats
Very easy to make and tastes pretty good. I put in a shaker cup and used the 1/3 cup of milk recommended and let it rest in the fridge overnight. Very simple. Taste wise: It tastes good but it is very sweet. I ended up adding more milk to cut the sweetness. Texture is more like cereal than traditional warm oatmeal, that doesn't bother me. Big chunks of apples, which is cool, but some of them did not hydrate fully and were chewy.
