Q: Can you use this with a top load washer?

That's want I have - a top load washer - and this works great. Small loads only need 1/2 sheet and bigger loads need the full sheet. I put mine in on the wash cycle as instructed.

Q: How does it work for soften towels?

Hey WGall, Thank you for reaching out! Tru Earth Fabric Softener+ Eco-Strips is an in-wash fabric softener. It contains ultra-concentrated power that softens clothes/towels and lessens wrinkles on your clothes. The Fresh Linen Scent Booster version adds a pleasant scent to your laundry. The Fragrance-Free version is hypoallergenic that's gentle and safe for sensitive skin. We hope you have a great day!

The ingredients list for our Tru Earth Fragrance Free Fabric Softener strips are as follows: polyvinyl alcohol, zea mays (corn) starch, sodium lauroyl sarcosinate, glycerin, aqua, glycererth-6 cocoate, glyceryl cocoate, sodium c14—16 olefin sulfonate, polyquaternium 22, propylene glycol dicaprylate/dicaprate, citric acid, dihydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, potassium sorbate, cellulose pulp, cellulose gum, pink colorant.
