Excellent alternative surf rod
I decided to give this Fiblink 10' Surf Rod a try because it match my Kastking Sharky II 6000 and Baitfeeder II 6000 reels. One of my requirement is that it has to support 5oz. weight which this surf rod does according to the spec. I also didn't expect the feels just right in your hand and that it is very light weight compare to the Okuma Longitude 10' Surf Rod.What I didn't like about it is the tip can be made a little more sturdy. My first surf rod after 6 months of use; the tip broke off and caused me a 4oz. and a 5oz. crab snares. I think this is where Fiblink can improve on.What I like is that Fiblink has a 1 year warranty. In the beginning, I didn't expect any email reply back from Fiblink but about a few days later maybe a week or so; I received an email about sending me replacement tip but I don't know how to remove the original broken tip so the best second option was to replace my rod. Fiblink didn't hesitate to send out a replacement for me which I received.I highly recommend this surf rod and give them a try. I am so happy with my first purchase of a 10' surf rod even with the unexpected tip broke off; I purchased a second 10' and will be looking into get a 12' version soon.Great pricing and very decent quality for a surf rod.

Absolutely wonderful quality and very professional
The media could not be loaded. I got two 12ft of these for surf fishing in Florida (I often catch black tip sharks, too). Paired with Goture baitfeeder 6000, 280 yds of 50lb braid.PROS:- it looks and feels absolutely professional- the guides on both rods were in perfect condition- a lot lighter than the 10ft daiwa I had- casting has massively improved (I estimate 35-40% from the old rods)- very sensitive and a lot of back boneCONS:- none so far, I will update if anything changesLater update: my largest guide had a crack in the ceramic insert and it failed completely while casting. I contacted Customer service. They usually respond within a few hours and, after a few emails back and forth, they replaced my rod. I appreciate their care for customers.UPDATE May 2018: as the sharks started hanging out closer and closer to shore, so have I :) Last Friday I got 3 sharks between 3-4.5 ft (5-15 min fight time each) and then I hooked into something gigantic. 50 minutes into the fight (which was ridiculously slow, it was like I had hooked a sloth!), my 50lb braid gave up, while the thing was 10 yards from shore. I still don't know what it was, but we assumed it was a stingray at least 100lb. The point of the story is that the rod was absolutely phenomenal! At some point I was forcing it with all I had to drag the fish towards the shore and the rod really really helped me! Again, I recommend it strongly for surf fishing!

Great product!!! Awesome quality!!! Can’t wait to get more!!!
The media could not be loaded. Wow I am impressed. My family and I fish the surf fishing tournaments and beaches all year long. I have been fishing Penn rods for years now and wanted to find a reasonable priced rod for my wife, son and daughter. When the rod arrived at the house I was very impressed with the quality. The rod is almost a copy of my Penn Prevail rods. The quality is there. The epoxy finish on the guides had no imperfections. Very nice reel seat and I love the shrink wrapped grip. I went out and purchased a new Penn fierce II 8000 for it. Spooled it up with some 40lb braid. After my first cast I fell in love with it. It has great sensitivity for even the smallest fish and had nice backbone on some large skates. I fished the rod several times before writing this review because I wanted it to be honest. Needless to say I will be purchasing a few more for my family as this one is going to be mine. The wife liked it so much I will be ordering her and my daughter the 10ft version. My son liked mine so much he wants the 12ft version. Great rod for the money as nice as my more expensive rods and I think I enjoy fishing it more the the others I have. That you Fiblink for putting out a great product. I would love to have you sponsor us some rods to fish with during the upcoming tournaments.Tight LinesFrank

Pole was great, until it wasn’t.
Pole broke after 3 months of using it for crab snaring. Using 8oz snares, was never a problem. Until one day the rod gave out, casting from the beach. Never heard a crack sound before, until it gave out without warning. Loved casting it, but no a long lasting pole. There is supposed to be a 1 Year manufactory guarantee, trying to see if this is true.Update: good customer service, sending a replacement polePole was great for crab snares, casting was fluid. Great bang for the buck.

Good value
Bought this rod to toss lures for stipers, so far I'm impressed with it. Almost seems to be an exact copy of a penn fierce 3, which is also an amazing rod. Happy with the 11ft version, very fast action and looks nice casts 1-3oz lures super well.I will say the shipping was slow and the rod was in a huge crushed box with no bubble wrap or packing, I was shocked to find the rod not broken in the box.

Watch out for bad rod guides.
Out of the box this rod looked to be in perfect condition. The tip guide and stripper guide had added shipping protection, nice touch. However, after a few uses the ceramic insert on the tip guide chipped causing the braid line I use to part like it was cut by a knife. I replaced that guide, then a few trips latter 2 more guide inserts chipped and cracked. I knew going into this purchase that there may be issues with the guides so I will replace all of them with better quality guides. That being said the action and balance of the rods is very nice. It's beefy enough to throw 5 ounce weights and big chunk baits a country mile. Sensitive enough to feel even a light pick up. I would not recommend this rod for someone who has no experience replacing guides.
