slotty and effective
Works well with my Dell, but also worked well the other day with a Thunderbolt-ported Mac laptop. Seems well built so hoping it lasts.

Adapter works fine without a power source...
I had four hard drives connected to this hub. It was running on a MacBook Air. I had the mac power supply plugged into the hub. When the Mac decided to start charging all of the drives ejected prematurely. This unit is useless. It requires power! I do not recommend buying this unit. It’ll bring you nothing but grief.It seems if you want to use this hub you have to purchase 100 W USB-C charger!Update: I have found that you should not use a power supply directly connected to the adapter....I found that it works just fine... I was able to use it with 4 external drives and the microSD port...I upgraded my review to 4 stars instead of one...

Falsa publicidad - producto desechable
Es un producto desechable, lo que indica en sus especificaciones y calidad son todo lo contrario a la realidad, incurren en publicidad engañosa y falsa publicidad, es un robo directo, acepto que lo saque de su caja casi mes i medio después, pero al usarlo tras de notar que no era nuevo, por marcas de uso, no hacía buen contacto, mis discos y periféricos funcionaban mal, y luego de usarlo unas 4 veces simplemente dejo de funcionar, Amazon dice que me he pasado de las fechas estipuladas de reembolso o devolución, pero eso no justifica un producto de segunda vendido como nuevo, ni mucho menos que no sirviera, cuando un dispositivo como este es para uso de años, no para mal funcionar a penas sale de la caja, y menos en 3 o 4 usos se dañe por completo, literal es UN ROBO directo.
