This is an almost perfect bag. Initially I was concerned the zippers weren't sufficiently robust but I've come to believe they are probably better than I initially thought. The bag is black, the zippers are black and the zipper pulls are black and there are a LOT of pockets so quickly finding the right zipper wasn't so easy. I put reflective paracord in different colors on the pulls of different pockets to make it easier to "navigate" the bag. It would be a helpful upgrade if the next version of this bag had some way to differentiate the zipper pulls for the different pockets. There are two fairly heavy compression straps to go around the bag if you need them. That's fine but if you don't want to use them there is no way to clip them out of your way. They just hang loose and bang against stuff. This is a little annoying. Another suggestion for version 2 of the bag, a way to clip these out of the way if not needed. Otherwise the bag itself is well made. It has many, many pockets. It took me a couple of days of use to find some of them. The large main compartment can be left as a single large compartment or can be divided into two or three. I chose to go with 2 compartments, one large and one small. It was a bit of a struggle with small zippers to get the necessary divider in place but I should not need to deal with that again unless I choose to reconfigure the bag. There are also some small compartments within this area for smaller items. The bag can be carried by any of three sturdy attached handles, an included shoulder strap or as a backpack. The bag is covered with Molle/PALS straps to allow the external attachment of all sorts of things. There is no reason to leave any equipment behind. If you can't fit it inside the bag just strap it on the outside and annoy all your companions as you continually bang into them with your gear! All in all I'm very happy with the bag. All my gear fits inside and I'm using it with the shoulder strap. It's admittedly not the most comfortable shoulder strap I've used but it's sufficient for short trips from the car to the gym. If I were lugging it through a large airport I think I'd switch to the backpack configuration. It's not really designed to be a daily backpack either but the backpack straps are not bad. The backpack system has a very high chest strap which is more annoying than helpful. I'd prefer a waist strap but maybe that's just me. All things considered I'm happy with this bag. My old gym bag was quite literally falling apart so it was past time for an upgrade and this one is a big improvement so far. The minor things I've mentioned are indeed minor and it's very much a worthwhile bag to consider as a gym bag, a bag for overnight trips or a go bag.
