The brush works well. Not great on short nap,rugs, does not get into the pile much. Overall very happy. It does shorten the battery time a bit, but it does the job.

The power head on my dc59 animal dyson vacuum head recently stopped working. Have had this vacuum many years and it's been the BEST vacuum I've ever bought. Takes lot of abuse, just keeps doing what it was designed to do. Have only had to replace power pack a few years ago. But other parts are starting to fail. Due to current bad economics, decided to try a cheaper "non-Dyson" part. So far, very happy with this new motorized head. We have a farm, with multiple pets, lots of dirt and pet hair. Seems to be picking up everything (maybe even better than my worn out OEM Dyson head). I like the little lights too, especially when vacuuming under bed and furniture. It does seem to collect more hair on the beater bar than my old power head. But maybe that is a good thing. When I empty the cup, I just check the beater bar too, and pull off the pet hairs from our long-haired bordie collie. So far, so good. Not sure life span. But at this price point, not bad. Will revise my review if life is short lived. Vety happy with it now.

Unlike some other after market motorheads that I tried, this fits my 10+ year V6 slim perfectly. It feel as same or even better than the original. I also love the new design: the light, the flatter shape, and the easy roller removal switch. The price is also reasonable even compared to other aftermarket.

My brush is worn so I thought I would give this whole head replacement a try. It comes fully assembled and it easily slipped on my Dyson V8 vacuum. It is very easy to maneuver thanks to the wheels and being smaller in height and also lighter. The cleaning width is pretty much the same as the Dyson head. I also like the lights which my original head unit does not have. Unfortunately, I found the cleaning and suction to be disappointing when compared to my original Dyson head assembly. It does clean ok, but I had hoped it would perform better. Because good cleaning is my number one priority, I will be going back to Dyson even though this replacement head is a much lower cost.

I have just one question...Why do these vacuum manufacturers even bother making vacuum head with out lights? This vacuum head has 4 LED lights. I mean you can actually see if you've missed some debris. So nice to have this feature. It measures 10" wide, 4.5" deep and just over 1.5" tall. It has a button on the side that all you have to do is press and then you can clean the sweeper bar; no having to get the ole butter knife out or a nickel to twist the screw. I would definitely recommend this.

I bought this for exclusive use on hardwood floors. With the added wheels and LED lights, I can easily clean the kitchen and dining room floors quick and easy. Almost no effort is needed as it just slides over the floor. Picks up everything so far (except for large debris). For the cost this is an excellent addition to my V6 Absolute. 100% satisfied purchase!

This upgraded Dyson Motorhead vacuum brush with headlights is well made and nice quality. I really liked the light up crevice tool I got from Dyson, so when I saw this, I jumped to order it. It makes vacuuming and cleaning the floor easier with the headlights. I'm now able to see things on the floor easier and more clearly. It fits on my Dyson perfectly as well. Overall, I'm happy with this product and feel like it's worth the money based on the quality.

I am simply floored by this new motor head for my Dyson V10. My biggest pet peeve about most vacuums is how difficult it is to vacuum under furniture. The dust has no problem getting under my couch or my dresser, but the vacuum always has. This super low profile attachment with the LED lights is everything I ever wished for. What makes it so low profile is that the diameter of the roller is much smaller than the original, yet I've found that it works just as well, in fact maybe better. I have always found that my V10 misses cat litter scatter all the time. Only my Miele with the regular floor attachment can pick up cat litter scatter. This new floor head catches all of the litter AND I can easily vacuum under my sofa and also under my bedroom dresser with ease! It's brilliant! And the light is just fantastic to help you see in dim light all the dust and stuff you miss. Because they are LEDs, they don't affect the power either as they use very little. The Dyson batteries aren't so great. They will all deteriorate at some point and mine is down to 20 minutes on medium and maybe 5 minutes on high and it's only 3 years old. This attachment hasn't changed that. I absolutely love and it now remains permanently attached to my Dyson V10.
