50M Royal Green Premium Hose

There are loads of garden hoses out there that claim to be strong and kink resistant but they always disappoint. This hose is the exception!I have a very (over)complicated irrigation setup in my glasshouse and polytunnels with long runs of hose that are permanently under high mains pressure. This hose, unlike most, can take that easily with no visible sighs of stress even after a few weeks.As for kink resistance, I let this get hot in a polytunnel on a sunny day then started yanking it around to intall, pulling it around corners etc. It seems impossible to get a kink - yes, it seems kink proof.Only downside is that because of its strength it is much heavier than most hoses but it would be wouldn’t it.

How angry am I!!!! After getting fed up with cheaper hoses always kinking I thought, splash out on a decent one and save yourself from the frustration of constant kinking! Well! I've just spend an hour trying to unravel this hose - which by the way, has come in green with a red stripe down it, not the green one I wanted - and undo loads and loads of links on the way!!!!! Agggggg! To be honest I'm more than angry but can't send it back as, obviously, I'd undone it and it's now on my reel! Yes the hose is heavy, it would be at 50mtrs, but it's no different than the el-cheapo ones you can buy. It sat in the early morning sun for about 30 mins before I undid it which had softened it up a little but according to another reviewer, thet have it in the sun all the time and have no problems! Don't waste your money. You have been warned!

This is without doubt the best quality garden hose I have owned in my 60 years. It's marvellous stuff and I cannot imagine how you would get a kink in it. It's really great.But that strength does come with considerable weight. My 50m reel weighs a ton and although its fine for me, an older or more frail person may find it rather difficult to handle. Just so you're aware.

Brilliant high quality pipe. Bought a cheaper one which was total rubbish. We have of these connected together going round our reasonably large garden and the water is ‘on’ the whole time and no issues.It will kink (despite what others say) but not easily. Highly recommended

Reviewing after a long period and a winter as I have had so many hoses loose suppleness and quality after a cold spell. However I must say I am ecstatic with this hose. it is a bit pricey but has lasted well. I bought a 50m hose even though I needed less so made up some connector hoses and bought a smaller reel for the rest.

I love my new hosepipe. Up till now it’s anti kink. The only setback is the weight when full of water, but I did order the largest size.
